What should I do if I find really old posts that link to malicious material?

Will blank accounts be deleted at the end of the year?

^ I used to delete blank accounts (accounts of people who signed up but never made even one post) in the past - usually in a year or two after registration.

May I ask why you stopped deleting them? It freed up usernames.

I'd like to contact an administrator via e-mail for a personal matter. I can't use PM because I need to attach a document. Could any of the admins give me their e-mail address (if they don't want to share it publicly, they can send it to me via PM). Thanks.

I noticed my password didn't work to sign in today and I had to get a new one setup. It's all okay now, but I'm just curious if something happened with the forum/forum software, or was it some kind of glitch on my end? Thank you! =^_^=

The delete post is not working properly, when you click yes, it deletes the post, but it doesn't tell you that the post has been deleted. Is it a fault at my end?

Nothing I'm aware of, the problem probably was on your end.

I deleted this very post right now, and and the message shows up quite fine. Maybe there was a lag in your browser/on server so it just skipped the message.

Looks like it was something on my end since a good old Windows restart fixed my problem (was getting it on other sites too). Thanks!

Is it just me or has this site been going down much more recently? I find myself refreshing the page every two posts.

At the top of your screen, click on Moonie Control Panel. On the left side, click on Profile. Click on Edit Signature. Enter something in the box, then click Submit. Ta-da, signature.

Thanks, does that also work for images and or banners? That's what I was trying to do and not having any success with

As long as the image size doesn't exceed the limits, it should work. And just in case: don't forget to add the image tags. :)

Is swearing still not allowed? How come I've seen other users swear recently?

The rules have not changed.

If you have seen people swearing recently, they are breaking the rules.

Why are posts like "I am leaving" getting sent to the cauldron? I am not joking and legitimately am curious.

In the past, "leaving" posts have been used solely to stir up drama, so the thread for it was closed down. I honestly see no reason why someone would need to make an entire thread to announce that they're leaving the forum (much less a thread in the Announcements subforum) so they're Cauldroned.

Basically, if you want to stop posting here, that's your decision, and feel free to PM your friends to say goodbye. But making a huge production about it has historically done nothing but stir dramatics, therefore it's been nipped in the bud.

Can you change your username into a name that isn't English like 是催眠? (Don't change it yet though.)

Haven't tried, but I guess it's technically possible. However, this' an English forum, doing that would cause inconveniences to most of other users who don't speak Chinese.
