The ONLY friendship I really care for is Usagi & Rei in the anime, I LOVE their fighting also... it's hilarious. I hope that does not change with the new SM anime.

It shouldn't. That same kind of relationship is also suggested in the Manga. Also, the bickering does great justice to Mars' death scenes. It's very apparent that those two love each other very much.

This. The end of the R movie where Rei is the one who takes Usagi's death the hardest, followed by her leaping into her arms sobbing when she comes back to life is one of the best scenes in the whole series.

They need to bring back that friendship for the anime. Along with her closeness to Minako from the manga, and with Ami from PGSM.

IMO, Rei should keep her original anime relationship with Usagi and have the flashback she had with Ami (didn't they talk about thier family history together) in PGSM.

I think all of the girls should have episodes together though, mostly one on one, in addition to having them all together or just interacting with Usagi. We got a few of those in the original anime, and saw all of them talking together a handfull of times just based on how long the series was, but seeing more of them interacting in random combos on a more day to day basis would be nice. An example of Rei, would be like that episode in SuperS where her and Makoto went shopping together off sceen.

That's still far too lil as a whole, & it wasn't just the two of them interacting alone, as Chibiusa was there. *sigh*

What I meant is that their one-to-one interactions are shown far too lil, if any, in the show when compared w/ the other girls, & that's pretty unsatisfactory. :ninja:
