Some people in the forum had the audacity to say less than wonderful things about the show! Death to them!

Of course we already knew the whole of that article, but it's a great summary for new peoples. Perhaps my mother would benefit from it? :P

They abruptly moved Sailor Moon from Mixxzine to Smile, a teen girl magazine that was so awful and repellent that I wrote an angry editorial about it for my old Anime Jump website.

If this is the same website where he explained how bad ADV's dub for Orphen was then i'm pretty sure i can find it since i was lucky to find the Orphen article a few months ago & i'm curious about how bad this was.

EDIT: I think i found it

The article was a pleasant surprise. It was well written, and while far from perfect, it got his basic message across. It inspired me to do something similar. :D

Just ignore the damm people on ANN. One person even tried to mention that Sailor Moon wasn't a hit in Japan. ^_^'

*reads*

Oh yeah, ignore him specifically since he has been known to talk out of his ass many times before on there & on the old AoD forums as "TornadoTatsumaki" saying things that are not true and claiming them as facts while ignoring the real facts that everyone else has said to him. Everyone has called him out on his lies (myself included) yet he continues to spread them.

Kind of reminds me of a certain banned member from this forum '^_^

One thing in this article that confused me was Bandai. Did they really drop the toy line in 1996? I know for a fact that their dolls were still at KB Toys in 1998. That's when I bought them all except Beryl, and there are pretty decent stock of them.

I believe she's talking about Bandai's US division, not Japan. ^_^'

They were probably discontinued much earlier, but that doesn't mean you wouldn't still see them on toy shelves for a while. :P
