of the Senshi is that they get different formations i always wanted them to have different one's like Mercury did in the Special. i hope its not repetitive

I've always thought that even if I loved PGSM's transformations, for a more serious/mature and less sparkly transformations they should've done somehing really brief and less like a repeating, identical sequence. Maybe the could do that this time.

I'm looking forward to the transformations and hoping for some more creative angles and stuff. I wonder if they are going to go with the glittery, sparkling bodies or with skin tone. I always like the sparkling bodies xD

Same here. The sparkling bodies just felt magical xD
I do hope that they take a different approach to their sequence. Especially Moon's, hers were forever long

though, if they said thier names every time they transformed, like nick winx is doing, that would get annoying.

again, this is just me going "what if the sailor moon transformations looked like these. i think its better to show what i mean rather than explain it.

I think it'd also look cool if their transformations are instantaneous w/ just a flash or what.

I wish the henshins would be like the ones in Puella Magi Madoka Magica, since they're pretty and sparkly and whatnot, but they're still much faster.

I'm hoping they keep the ribbon theme, even if the transformations are instant.

I hope they correct Uranus' aura to blue and that they make Moon and Chibi Moon transform separately in the dream arc.

I think anyone hoping for real time transformations might end up being dissapointed. This is still a mahou shoujo genre series, and transformation sequences are a big part of that.

Probably, but I still hope they don't use stock footage. Stock footage transformations were a staple of Toei's Super Sentai series for decades but this year they got rid of them and we got this:

So it's not impossible for the new Sailor Moon anime to break with tradition, even if it's unlikely.

I know that the stock footage transformations are a staple, but they really shouldn't be much longer than 3-to-5 seconds per Sailor at the most. Also, if it's in the middle of a major action sequence, the transformations should be real-time instant so as to not break the flow of the scene.

Love the henshins of Go-busters, very Kamen Rider-like since they don't use stock footage. For the new Sailor Moon series, I wouldn't mind a bit of a sequence especially when debuting a transformation, but would love to see transformations in the style of Kamen Rider where the henshin itself can harm enemies.

In all seriousness though, the sequences are a staple of the series, I just hope they change and not just the backgrounds. Why should only Moon be the only one to get different ones!

That said, I also like Venus having also got a pretty different transformation sequence in PGSM, to show her special status as the leader of the Senshi.

I didn't like how they were together, I can understand the very first time they got the upgrades, but it was just silly.

I don't get what was so silly about that. It never bothered me.

I think its because they need to be together all the time to do their henshins.

Also cause the upgrade is actually a downgrade cause they actually need and Helios to use 's main attack. Didn't make any sense once the movie was released.

You're right about that. The transformation sequence itself didn't bother me, tho.

I think Chibiusa transformed once by herself? It was in episode 157, and she used the Crystal Carillon to attack on her own too.

To me, although Moon's transformation sequences were a bit long, I thought they had a fast pace to them. It didn't feel like she was needlessly dancing around/stalling. I hope that carries over to the new anime.

I've always hated that the Inners got dolled up version of their transformation for each power up while Sailor Moon got a different one each time. The Mercury one in the special shows they could have done different ones, but were just lazy. Then there were the Outers in Stars that didn't even get a new sequence and Saturn never had one at all(people shouldn't have to make fan transformations ).

I don't care what they do, just make them different for each power up and I especially had better finally see an official Saturn transformation.
