Simple question: Do you own any SM t-shirts? If you do, who or what's on it?

Bonus question for guys: Are you brave enough to wear a SM t-shirt in public? (You can answer even if you don't have a SM t-shirt.)

I don't own any SM stuff, but I think I'd find it hard to wear a SM shirt out in the open. Though that's just me.

Yes I have three. One is the black one with the senshi from Hot Topic, one is from Cafe Press with Mars' transformation pen and the other one has the first slogan in my sig.

Yup, I have all of the ones Hot Topic has released so far. I plan to get this one designed by Frizzy (sailorfailures on Tumblr) next because I've recently taken a liking to the phrase.

I have no problem wearing my SM shirts out in public, because what's the point in having them if I can't wear them in public? Unfortunately, since I have to dress nicely for my new job I only get a chance to wear them on weekends, so I don't wear them too often these days. I wore the purple one with Sailor Moon and Chibiusa on it to my family's Christmas gathering this year, and it was fun because my cousin's daughters (one is almost seven, the other eight) were asking questions about Sailor Moon and wanted to know who she was.

I have one that is maybe 15 years old. It has Usagi doing the 'I'll punish you' angry pose to the camera, with action-eske face shots of the inners to her side. It's pretty worn out, but I still wear it on special occasions. I used to wear it pretty often and wasn't gentle when I washed it.

I wish the new ones weren't all so happy and girly. Counter-intuitive, perhaps, but I like mine for being more aggressive and less feminine.

I have the same one. I wear it at anime conventions only.

To answer the question, I have 3 Sailor Moon shirts including the one mentioned above. I also have the hot topic black shirt and a blue shirt that I found on E-bay.

Speaking of which, I wear a lot of anime shirts and I only use my faves at anime conventions....I have no problem with rockin' the shirts in public.

I can confidently say that I would wear a Sailor Moon shirt and I have many plans in motion to purchase some online. Just need to figure out money things.
Actually, some of my favourite shirts when I was younger were Sailor Moon shirts... and my best pjs were Sailor Moon pjs. I even had a Sailor Moon nightshirt. Now I'm too big for any of them. Growth spurts were a jerk to me... at least in terms of my Sailor Moon clothing collection.

I did own a Haruka and Michiru shirt, a Sailor Moon shirt, and a tank featuring Sailor Moon and her guardian soldiers when I was a teenager. I have no idea what happened to any of them, but I haven't seen them in years. They must have either been thrown away or given away at some point.

No and that's because only the girls get the cool designs. Luckily I have a body type that can let me get away with some of the less shapely tees that I'd be tempted to wear the "I need a hero!" Tuxedo mask shirt. I think Frizzy hit it on the head about the shirts stupid designs when they sarcastically tagged the recent guys tee's with "#we call this one the pussy magnet." Personally, I like Frizzy's more subtle designs featuring the Amazon Trio/lemures/Dead Moon logo and Nephrite symbol since only other fans would recognize them and are actually aesthetically pleasing vs too-dorky. I'd totes buy them if they weren't so expensive.

Yes I have 4 shirts and I proudly wear them . I'm just careful not to get them too dirty .

Do I own a Sailor Moon t-shirt? Nope. Would I want one? Sure, I wouldn't mind. Would I wear it? Not in public, but anime conventions would be an exception. I would have it framed personally.

oh yes i do!!! how often do you get to find a SM shirt for guys and for $15 i get alot from girls telling me they like my shirt, and yes even though i may look silly wearing an SM shirt and im not gay(not offending), im mighty proud of owning a SM shirt in my collection and representing SM besides dragonball z, cowboy bebop, and other anime shirts i have. on the other hand, i wished it was in black. hot topic really needs to focus on making shirts for guys as well, i know recently they have been making shirts with sailor pluto, saturn, uranus, and neptune by themselves. i really REALLY hope they make a badass sailor jupiter by herself, in black and one for guys.

Why's that just for guys? It can be just as hard for girls, for different reasons tho.

My usual dress code doesn't really include t-shirts with prints, but when I dress outside of my usual formula, I'd definitely wear one and I'm planning on getting a few. For gym or such.

whats wrong with girls around my age (25) or older wearing sailor moon shirts? i wouldnt think it be discouraging or immature for them, i think it brings up something that shows them who they are and what they like, plus it makes it easier for me to have a conversation with a girl whose interested in SM than to make a total ass out of myself.

Actually women of 25 and especially older are expected to dress smartly, especially for the office. Then there's unisex reasons, like being identified with the Western otakus (which some don't want). It's great that you don't think it's immature, but the society does. Imagine a 60 y.o. walking past a 25 y.o. woman with an SM-shirt: he wouldn't know anything about the series and wonders why an adult woman would wear a kids' shirt.

I've been buying most of the new shirts that have been coming out, and I have a few old ones from before the revival. The last time I counted I think I had something like 20 shirts. I should count again since they all need to be washed. ><

I wear them almost every day when they are clean. Almost my entire wardrobe has become Sailormoon and I see absolutely nothing wrong with this. I love when people say things like, "Oh Sailormoon! I used to love that show!" then I can tell them about the manga re-release and the new anime. Met some great people this way.
