I was wondering if any of you had ever ordered from setsunakou.com or know anyone who has? I think her custom dolls look really good, but I was also wondering about the quality? I really want a chibichibi doll but didn't know if she was legit or not.

Apparently her costumes are terrible, but her dolls are not so bad. :neutral:

Yeah, her costumes and wigs are dreadful, but her dolls are pretty nice. I don't know why she writes all that weird fan fiction to try to sell her stuff though. That seems a little creepy to me.

If you're looking for a good costume commissioner though, try God Save the Queen Fashion or Black Moon Cosplay. They're both pretty good. I think Black Moon is a little less expensive if you're on a budget.

Because she's slightly psychotic? I'm sorry, that was mean. But still, that is pretty crazy to always change Uranus' colors like that. And that's not the only one she's changed the colors on. If you look at the picture on her homepage, you'll see that she also changed Pluto from black(skirt and collar) and dark red(bows) to dark purple(skirt and collar) and black(bows), and made Chibimoon's bow yellow instead of red.

I noticed those too, but Pluto's is excusable (Bandai used that color scheme for all the Sailor Pluto dolls they made), and Chibimoon's isn't very noticiable. Uranus's stands out like a sore thumb.

(You can see on the armguard. That she used the top of plastic cups for it. As well as the Tidus symbol on the leg is eletrical tape.)

And this is why you shouldn't purchase from Setsuna Kou EVER. I could make a Tidus costume of this quality for less than $50. Toss in the boots and Wig, and that will probably run me another $50. In fact, I made a Songstress Yuna costume, used my own boots, and didnt need to buy a wig cuz I used my own hair, and I put about $20-$30 into that costume.

Rakiko has a custom Badiane from SK that she ADORES. Her custom dolls look so pretty in pictures but I've never seen one in person. They seem really nice though! She also has a lot more experience than I do in this area; I've only done a handful of doll modifications (and they were all Darkury).

Her plushies are also really cute. P-:

I don't care for her custom dolls. The hair always looks stringy and stiff (like a kid who takes a scissor and a bottle of Gel to a Barbie doll.) and she makes wonderful use of pipe cleaners.

I think that her doll's look great! And she is very nice if you email her asking a question, but that's just my experience.

Her dolls are great. I have a chibichibimoon doll for sale so you can see her quality in my rare/other sailor moon items for sale page if you want a look.

But i don't have any others of hers yet though they are gorgeous.

I donn't liker her costumes much but her random accessories (careful with wands...usps n ither hatrs them....and mine was packaged perfectly) seem really great.

As for her dolls i have a friend who owns a few and they are excellent.
Really pretty really incredible if you choose the right makes of the doll (usually volks if available). She has irwin remakes too.

I like them

And my chibichibimoon is a testament to that.

I had a horrible experience of ordering from Setsuna Kou. I ordered videos from her many times and never recieved one. Which I see that she has now taken off her video part of her site most likely because if other customers were having the same problems then there would be alot of complaints.

Hmmm....definitely don't like Sailor Uranus/Haruka in the yellow color. :/ Not to mention, I definitely don't like her pairing with Seiya. Nooooo. No way. haha.

You know, looking at some of the accessories....they don't look too bad themselves. I mean, those alone. I'd love have some of the Neptune ones, but I don't think I would trust it too much.

She does very awesome custom dolls... I've Galaxia and all the 6 witches 5 from her.

BUT HER MASTERPIECE she did specialy for me.... GIANT and priced doll, but
I wanted her so much... star anise goddess Badiyanu :love:
