Just a visual add. Lately I've seen all these cryptocurrencies come and go, like bitcoin. But if someone made introduced a digitial currency and actually called it Sailor Moon Coin, how much you think it would be worth and you think the forces of evil would try to stop it?

If Naoko was able to produce "Sailor Moon coins" and exchange them for real dollars, she would be quite happy, I guess. P-:

Well, "Sailor Moon" is as a type of digital/alternative currency. Sellers can make huge profits by selling "Sailor Moon" items on places like eBay and Amazon.

An authentic "Sailor Moon" star locked by Bandai that plays music may be worth hundreds of dollars.

By buying an authentic "Sailor Moon" product, you are making an investment because you can sell it later for a more expensive price.

It is like buying a CHANEL bag (though, a CHANEL bag is worth thousands of dollars). :P

It's not the same thing as currency. Real items cost real money to produce, with brand just adding some value on top of their price. Digital/real currency doesn't cost anything by itself (or production price is negligently small), but can be exchanged for items with real value.

Perhaps it's supposed to be the currency circulated in the Silver Millennium (Moon Kingdom) or Crystal Tokyo? lol

Oh, yes, of course; I was speaking metaphorically. ^_^' P-:

Digital currency (like Bitcoin) costs computing power (electricity) to produce.
Non-fiat currency (like gold) costs resources to mine it.
Fiat money is not real currency.
