well i have heard many times, that creating your own character takes time,
some people claim it takes 3 months or 1 month with mugen

you have to do all the coding, and sometimes you are busy so you cant like get to work on the character which you are creating.

poshpsylocke must be busy in rl, so you cannot rush he or she
you will just have to wait :tongue:

I watched it. My only complaint is that Poshpsylocke is mixing voices from original Japanese and DiC dub versions, and that doesn't sound very good.

=^_^= Hey guys long time no see. I have made a new homepage for Sailor Moon X, uploaded all of the characters with new updates, and a new Sailor Moon X bundle, with all of the latest characters updates. My new site is poshpsylocke.yolasite.com. Thanks to all of you for your support! If you want to help with sprites, then you could get the 3DO sprites from the sailor moon 3DO game.

I've been trying all the version of sailor moon x up to now and I have some comments that I wanna share with Poshpsylocke:
+ Sailor Mercury: since Mercury represents not only water but also the thought which is fast, so Mercury's move should be fast too. I was very satisfied with older version of Mercury but not the latest one (17/11/2009) because her "water spraying" is some kinda way to gain energy and somewhat a defense weapon is now made very slow. I agree that in older version when we were allowed to use endless light kick, light punch and ....., "water spraying" is somehow not fair. However, in the latest version, that ability is not allowed anymore, I think Poshpsylocke should regain the "fast water spraying" for Mercury. One more thing, i really don't understand why you created Mercury Aqua Rhapsody move for Mercury since it's rarely used and hard to use. Now in the latest version, you have integrated "Mercury Arrow" into "Mercury Spinning Cyclone", I think you should replace "Mercury Arrow" by a super version of "Mercury Aqua Rhapsody". I suggest it like that because in super version of Sailor Moon anime, super moves like Mars Flame Sniper, Jupiter Oak Evolution and Venus Love and Beauty Shock have been created as super moves in this game but Mercury Aqua Rhapsody. The last thing for Mercury is: in destructive move like "Mercury Aqua Mirage", she can still be attacked while the others like Moon, Mars, Neptune are untouchable in this move. It's not fair! the same thing happens to Pluto, Venus and Chibi Moon. You should either make them attackable or unattackable in this move!

+ Sailor Uranus: she can be said to suffer the most changes from you :D! Uranus version have changed so much since the oldest version but I see that these changes are your confusion and considerations about Uranus power! She was very fast and powerful in this version but very slow and weak in another such as the latest one! Uranus is the warrior of the sky and wind. It's obviously she must be fast. She's the combination of men and women (in manga and anime, Uranus is a man but after trasformation, he becomes a woman). No doubt, she must be powerful by nature. So I think you now get what I mean! Please regain the speed and power for her like in the older version! In the latest version, without her "Air Bomb" I can hardly find any move to be useful and she now appears to be the weakest one in the sailor scout. The last thing, I know you're almost working in your own, but could you consider to make a destructive move for her like Moon, Mars, Mercury.... by the way, make a similar move for Jupiter too! Please!

+ Sailor Jupiter: wow, In the latest version, her most useful move: "Coconut Cyclone Kick" has been made less powerful! Have to admit that, in the older version, when you put her to be the first one in the story mode, it's rather hard to overcome her since she continuously attacks. Nevertheless, now the endless light move has been disabled, her "Thunder Dragon" has been slowed down and made less powerful, what could we do with the "narrow range and long delay version" of "Coconut Cyclone Kick" in the latest version? Don't tell me you think that Sailor Jupiter is the warrior of Protection and Determination and she just needs to be strong but not fast cause actually, her super move can't be said to be stronger than the other! Only one change in this version that I like about Jupiter is her "Jupiter Oak Evolution" has been strengthened which it should have been for a long time ago but has been degraded! Last thing! Please make a destructive move for Jupiter! Please!

+ Sailor Neptune: it's pretty perfect for her but there should be some adjustment! Her "Tidal Arrow Kick" uses up all her energy no matter how much she's got! A big question mark here? This move can take up to more than half the blood line if it attacks at the right place on the other hand can just do a little harm to the enemy if it aims inaccurately! So I suggest you make this move use one level of power and have the same power as the other moves! One thing you may not notice is: in her destructive move which takes up to 5 level of power, I can use this move with just one level of power! Maybe, there is a mistake in the programming! Oops, her "Submarine Violin Tide" attacks from below which is impossible to guard :(! Could you adjust it!

+ Sailor Mars: "Burning Mandara" and "Mars Fire Phoenix" is impossible to guard! It's not fair! Mars is not so powerful as you made her! She shouldn't be placed near the end of the game cause she's neither Boss nor powerful! As if you like her most and make a priority for her! It's not fair!

+ Sailor Moon: "Moon Prism Power" is impossible to guard! Seems like it's not possible to guard an attack from below! :(!

+ Other: Queen Beryl is not so strong as Emerald. Why is she the final Boss?

Those are my opinion about the latest version! I don't mean anything, just wanna help! Hope you make this game better and famous around the ones who love Sailor Moon! If there is anything more I will post later!

Thank you very much heobibo. This is REALLY great feedback! Now I can just use your comments as a checklist to improve the game and make the changes. I've been aware of most of these things, but I forget sometimes, so then they don't get change. I'll get right on it, I may not make all of the changes you suggested, but most of them seem perfectly sound. Thanks again Heobibo! ;)

You're always welcomed! It's me that should be grateful to you for creating such a great game :)!

It seems to be you haven't disabled all the endless attack form light kick, punch, moves and super moves since I still can use some moves continuously and win over the enemies perfectly:D like Death Scream of Pluto, Dash Attack of Mercury, Emerald's combo! The delay between Mars Fire Snake is too short compared to the other and she can launch this attack with crazy speed! I use this bug to defense and gain energy:D! Mention about Mars, not by player but by computer, she can use destructive move even without any energy! Completely not fair:(! In this version, It's easier to defeat Mars, Saturn then before! But honestly, I like the older version when Mars and Saturn deserve to be a tough opponents! Nevertheless, in any version, I can easily and quickly defeat all of them:D!

Last thing for this post: you seemed to make the story mode in this version shorter! I can't have the victorious feeling when defeating all the characters anymore:(!

Can I point out that Sailor Uranus has never been a man. She's a woman throughout the anime and manga.

I remember very clearly the way Uranus appears and sound in the episode that introduces Uranus and Neptune. Moreover, in manga version, Michiru once said Haruka is both man and woman!

I got the same problem as you did but I found a way to overcome it! In order to do it I hope that you still keep any older version of Sailor Moon X. This is how I did:

+ Right click on the file "SailorMoonX.exe" and choose Troubleshooting Compatibility". Wait for a moment for the OS to find out what's the most compatible settings for the game and then apply the suggested settings.

+ Now you don't have the error message about the video anymore but another erro message appears saying that there's a problem with the file "mugen.cfg" in "data" folder. Now all you need to do is copy the file "mugen.cfg" from "data" folder of OLDER version of the game and replace the one in the latest version (remember to back up this file in case you need it back).

+ Start the game again to see how it works :D!

I just tried it and there are a few things you'd like to know.

-I think the gain way too quick energy.
-They still move too quick.

Sailor Jupiter moved really quick and didn't even give me a chance to stand up. She kept spamming her moves and doing supreme thunder dragon in the corner and then ending it with oak evolution.

We know Jupiter is supposed to be strong but not that quick. She just kept doing her spinning kick and thunder and punch and thunder and spinning kick over and over.

I honestly got a little stressed seeing how quick she was moving and how she chained everything so well together.

Maybe you'd like to make her slower, gain energy slower too and reduce the infinite chaining she can do. If her attacks are a little bit stronger to compared let's say Mercury or Venus okay but please tone down the speed and energy gain.

I think we die way too quick, maybe the damage has to go down or the health has to go up. How much health do they have anyway?

That's all I can say now, seeing how I never got past Jupiter in my first battle.

Hihi, i guess you are new to this game:D! Even with the older version of this game, I can easily defeat Jupiter! I have used all the characters in the game to defeat Saturn for many times! It's Saturn who deserves to be the Boss in this game!

No, I'm not new to the game.

I just thought infinite combos, too high energy gain and too quick movement was already fixed. How do u expect us to enjoy the game if I can't do anything in the corner?

Is there any way to tone down the AI?

And now that I've tried again, looks like Mars is still broken. Her Fire Soul Bird still causes too much damage and can actually kill me if hit correctly. It's often unblockable too.

Rubeus is fine but maybe he shouldn't jump too high causing me not able to see him.

I think this game is supposed to be the best sailor moon fighting game, not the cheapest extremest.

Well you're clearly remembering wrong. Uranus appears as a man at first, but is and always has been a woman. Naoko has admitted this in interviews, it's all proven that only women can be Sailor Senshi. Haruka is a lesbian.

Seriously, these theories about Uranus really annoy me.

Sailor Mars still can launch "Fire Snake" with high speed and it not only helps her to gain energy quickly but also damage the opponents heavily when they were hit by "Mars Flame Sniper". The other unfair thing about her is when be hit be opponents, it's easier for her to get out the combo. I noticed and realized the reason is Posh has made her position horizontal when being hit which reduce the probability to be hit again. Her ability to recover after being hit is too great, let alone her sudden "Fire Bird"! She's really annoying!

You speak for me, I couldn't agree more about Mars.

I think they all really recover too fast from attacks. It's like they flinch a little and resume attacking again.

Please fix Mars' Fire Bird, it's way too strong and they all gain energy way too quick.

A few other things that need to be fixed :
-Sailor Moon : her ginzuishou always comes out too often on the CPU player, is the cost that cheap? Her moon power super can't be blocked and is ALMOST an INSTANT DEATH.
-Sailor Saturn, her level 1 super is too strong I think
-Emeraude, Rubeus, Zoicite : too much jumping around, it's annoying on the screen
-Sailor Mars : she can use her fire soul bird super with even 0 energy and it's usually and INSTANT DEATH, the delay for her mars snake and fire soul (regular attacks) is too small. She can constantly spam it.
-Sailor Neptune : her submarine violon tide is unblockable too and is INSTANT DEATH too

Common problem for almost all characters :
-too much jumping and dashing around
-too fast, PLEASE tone DOWN the SPEED.
-small delay between attacks, they can spam a lot of moves (especially Mars)
-they gain energy too quick and even some can execute their super moves at 0 energy.
-recovery after getting hit is too quick. I can use one punch to interrupt a combo an almost instantly the combo starts again. The recovery after getting hit should be longer.

And I agree, for mercury maybe her aqua rhapsody should be a super attack too like for the other inner senshi.
