What language/environment are you coding in? Any chance I could grab the source for a 360 port in the future sometime?

The engine itself is SDL so if the XNA had a way to port SDL programs, you could port OpenBoR to the 360 but I heard you had to pay for that service to code for it.

Trust me, I've got alot of that before even attempting the Wii port, but I'm glad you figured out how to use Wii homebrew. There's new stuff coming out what seems like every day and if you use the Homebrew browser app, you can even update your installs! Neat huh?

Now that we got that stuff outta the way, it's time to continue on and make this PGSM game :)

And from the artist standpoint--not to mention the sheer volume of sprite editing there is to be done. The good news is I have some Sailormercury and SailorV done.

General question if anyone would like to voice an opinion, should SailorLuna be a playable character or a bonus (kind of like a Tuxedo kamen cameo appearance equivalent)?

Unless Kungp has ideas of his own he hasn't voiced to me yet, but I'd crack a code like a rotten egg. Messy, odorous, and no one would want to clean it up...He can handle that...

Well, I kinda slipped out at the Naoko panel that Sailor Luna would be playable in some form. That could mean that if you press a button, Sailor Luna would come out and smack up some baddies before she goes away. That's something I'd like to introduce into Sailor Moon S so maybe that's a game mechanic that will venture itself over to PGSM.

Sailor Luna in Sailor Moon S? How would that be possible if she didn't exist?

No no...Not the character, but the game mechanic of calling on a helper. In Sailor Moon S, if you press a button, you'd call on Tuxedo Kamen.

Ah, gotcha. I'd be careful how you use Sailor Luna, not a lot of people like her... Unless I just happen to see all the negative feedback on her. : P

By The Way, What Do You Think I'ts Better For The Game, I Mean Sailor Saturn as Adult (As seen At The Ens Os sailor Moon S) Or As Child?

Saturn always was younger than her fellow Senshi, even though she aged slightly in physical form during her transformation (citing the manga, a la Chibiusa-chan). My Saturn is slightly younger/shorter than her counterparts. I think it looks the best, personally, since we never really see her look quite as mature as the others (I think she's about a year or two younger than the Inners at the end of S even).

Your enthusiasm is much appreciated, Jack. :) I can't promise anything soon or right now, but maybe I can let you see what I'm working on and if you feel you can use it in MUGEN, maybe we can negotiate something.

Thanks For Your Reply
You Are So Nice!

I Love Videogames And I Love Sailor Moon So I Really like What You Are Doing

I Really Like Fighting Games And It Seems MUGEN I'ts The Only Option That We have To See Sailor Moon Back In Action, I Understand That You Made Your Own Sprites (Beautiful, Beautiful Sprites), And The Case I'ts That There Really Aren't Any Mugen Spriters Interested In Sailor Moon :(
But Now That I've Seen The Amazing Editing Job That You've Done, i Think We Could Make A Conversion, Something Between The kungpow Videogames And MUGEN, We Even Can Do Our Own Sailor Moon kungpow Revival Fighting Game Using The Mugen Engine, It's Sounds Very Cool, But I'm Not Experienced Enough Yet, But If You Let Me Use Your Sprites I Would Learn To Code AS FAST AS I CAN, And Do Something Really Good, Because I'm Telling You That This Is Something That I've ALWAYS Wanted To Do, And I Think We Could Something Really Cool.

I Can Tell You Much More, If You Want To Hear About The Project I Can send You A Private Message.

Take Care!

By The Way Wich Format Do You Prefer For The Sailor Neptune Sprites? I Can't Begin If You Don't Tell Me...

png or gif format would be good but I do have a mugen ripper I can use to rip the frames myself if you have the character ready.

I'm thinking of making Super S into a fighter but we haven't decided yet. (Trying to figure out what to do to make up for Super S's short comings) ...We'll just have to see about all of that.

Again, ideas that I tossed at Kungp but not sure what he wants--

I thought of making Luna actually, you know...useful. Kind of like how the Guardians will now have what looks like useful physical attacks in lieu of their "ballet fu" :)

But if Luna's supposed to train them, then I think she should be one of those characters that looks like she can't do jack, then turns out to be the fireball o' pain no one wants to mess with. And her attitude should reflect that. Kind of a Milky Rose equivalent (Yes! Precure 5 GoGo). Besides, I think her super speed and hearing can be put to much better use than zipping around to distract Kunzite...

See, the PGSM Sailorluna is kinda...well....stupid. The one I picture (and one I hope Naoko would've designed) is cool. :D

I just realized how to play Sailor Moon on the Wii without waiting for the PGSM game. Use a SNES emulator on the Wii (start with Homebrew Channel which I installed with Twilight Hack). Then I run a ROM of one of the Sailor Moon (there is one fighting game for each season) games for the Super Nintendo. If you do that you should get an idea for what this PGSM game should be like.

I think it'd be cool if there were a Sailormoon Wii game that was like the Crystal Shooting Arena (or w/e it was) for the American PC game (with that horrid, horrid opening, complete with ice-skating subpar renderings of the senshi). Wii Tennis is my favorite Wii game and I love being so active...fighting from a combatative viewpoint would be awesome.

SMS is Sailor Moon Super, third series of Sailor Moon.

If you're still not sure, haha, it's the one that Sailor Neptune, Sailor Uranus and Sailor Saturn first appear. The main villains are the Deathbusters and Mistress 9.

When they're ready. How about being more patient for a response? And it's not going to be an official game, so are you even going to want to play it?

Exactly

We're starting on Sailor Moon S next, and we're about to finish up on Sailor V(which should release either next month or November) ^_^

OF COURSE I will play it. Unlike Eternal Sailor Moon, who is the most epic character, so she needs a perfect picture (notice the key word "picture"), a Wii game doesn't have to be official or perfect. As long as it allows me to run around and kick my opponents' butts, I'll be happy.

I've actually voiced this to Tuxedo Starr around the time that we were talking about the arcade game remake but then it evolved into PGSM. I was also asked this at the Naoko panel at Otakon and I told them that if I had time, I would like to add both Neptune and Uranus at least. just to expand out the series a little. That's about as far as "new" as we'll get for the game for now.

Oh yes, please, add the outer senshi if you can

This is going to be a perfect game with the outer senshi as secret chars. *_* Oh my god....

The Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon panel was PACKED! In other words, it was a filled panel room. It was so packed that we sadly had to make people leave. If you see me running around franctically in the video later on, there's a reason why. I was having some major issues with getting the Wii to work but anywho, I had to pretty much had to become a member of Video Ops for about a 5 minutes to get it to work.

Those videos are the panels at Otakon 2008, the ones that I was a member on. The one showing off Sailor V on Wii was me. Also, I was on the Naoko Panel as well and I talked about the games there too and showed off some trailers of the other games.
