Fullmetal Alchemist 2003
Quote:
“The original Fullmetal Alchemist has a strong place in all of our hearts here at Anime Limited” says Andrew Partridge, President of Anime Limited. “It’s a show that for many people in the UK was a gateway into anime, and after being out-of-print for a long time what better way to celebrate it having been a decade since the series received it’s first release in the UK, yes it has been that long, than being able to bring the series out on DVD and for the first time on Blu-ray. Well there is one way we can think of; an Ultimate Edition Blu-ray set.”

The original Fullmetal Alchemist series will be coming to Blu-ray and DVD in 2016. More details will be forthcoming so please tuned accordingly for those.

Signing out~!

Eureka Seven
Quote:
We said we had some more news to share with you and we weren’t joking as today we are happy to announce that we (Anime Limited) are bringing the popular series Eureka Seven to the UK.
The series been out-of-print in the UK for some time, we’re very excited to be giving UK fans the chance to own the entire series for the first time on Blu-ray as well as DVD, all 50 episodes of it.

“What’s not to love about Eureka Seven?” says Andrew Partridge, President of Anime Limited. “It’s a great coming of age mecha anime that shows real growth. It’s one of the great shows from Studio Bones of that era. The same studio that brought the world Escaflowne, Fullmetal Alchrmist and Wolf’s Rain. I’m really happy we’re getting the chance to make this available to fans in the UK, and especially on Blu-ray. I am also excited to confirm that we are planning an Ultimate Edition release for the series.”

Eureka Seven will be getting released in the UK on both Blu-ray and DVD in 2016. More details on our release will be forthcoming.

Buddy Complex

Quote:
Our 2016 lineup is already shaping up to be our biggest year yet and today we’re happy to announce that we (Anime Limited) will be bringing the series Buddy Complex to the UK in 2016.

“Buddy Complex is a series brought to you from the same studio behind Cowboy Bebop, Escaflowne and Outlaw Star, so if you’re a fan of great action, and this case more often than not mecha based action, you’re sure to enjoy this” says Andrew Partridge, President of Anime Limited. “It’s also the directorial debut of Tasuhiro Tanabe, who has previously directed episodes of various anime including Horizon in the Middle of Nowhere, but this is the first series he has directed. As has been documented in the past we love being able to bring new director’s work to the forefront and Buddy Complex is no different. “

We can confirm that we will be bringing the series to Blu-ray and DVD in 2016. More details on our release will be forthcoming.

Genius Party and Genius Party Beyond
Quote:
It’s the end of the week and we have some exciting news to share with you are happy to announce that we (Anime Limited) will be releasing Genius Party and Genius Party Beyond in the UK.

Genius Party is a series of 7 short films released by Studio 4°C in Japan in 2007 that featured different creative minds from all sides of the anime spectrum coming together for each film. A popular tag line at the time was “7 Impacts by 7 Directors.” The followup Genius Party Beyond featured new 5 short films bringing more creative minds together.

“At Anime Limited we’ve always been big fans of unique film projects and Genius Party is no different” says Andrew Partridge, President of Anime Limited. “When you look at the directorial personnel involved Shinichiro Watanabe, Mahiro Maeda and Masaaki Yuasa, combined with the varying experiences working in anime from all involved this really is a wonderful project and I’m delighted we’re getting to bring this to the UK.”

At this time we can confirm that we will be releasing these on Blu-ray and DVD.

Quote:
The prime issue is some missing dialogue in the subtitles for episode 43, titled "The Sunshine Underground." At 15:32 to 15:36 on the Bandai DVDs the subtitles read "It was Adroc who scientifically proved..." and "that the crown was nothing more than that of a clown." However, on the FUNimation Blu-ray, disc 6 at around 03:04:13-16, it only reads the first line and the second line is completely absent from view while they are still speaking. This is a definite oversight on FUNi's part, and one that actually takes away part of understanding the context of the conversation; which is very plot heavy at that moment.

Hope they fix this subtitle glitch on Eureka Seven since AFAIK, FUNi never did.

Eureka Seven Ultimate Edition Artwork Revealed

Contents
- The entire series, 50 episodes, in both English and original Japanese with subtitles, plus a slew of extras across the discs too. (More details on the discs themselves below.)
- The discs will be housed inside two separate digipacks (pictured top right), and those digipacks will then be housed inside their own rigid case (top left) so they can sit proudly on your shelf with your anime collection. The rigid case & digipack are the same height as other releases of ours – so it’ll fit like a glove into your collection. The artwork used on the rigid case has not been used on a home video release before! Worth noting that this packaging (rigid case & digipack) is exclusive to our Ultimate Edition and will not be available separately.
- Also included an A3 sized poster (pictured bottom right) that will be house on arrival inside its own poster tube inside the same box as all the other contents. This won’t be available separately.
- And as if that wasn’t enough, we also have an exclusive A4 sized 144-page Art Book (pictured at the bottom in the centre) combining every possible bit of art we could get our hands on; there’s loads of art included that has never previously been released in the United Kingdom before! All that included has led to the book being divided into the following sections –
- Part 1: Characters
- Part 2: LFOs
- Part 3: The World of Eureka Seven
- 3.1: Settings
- 3.2: Props
- Part 4: Animation in Action
- Part 5: Artworks

- It’s safe for us to say that no art book of this kind has ever been created for Eureka Seven; so works as an excellent companion piece to the series itself and will not be available separately.

- And it’s also worth us noting all the contents will be sent in purpose built packaging to safely store each individual component during delivery. This box itself isn’t part of the Ultimate Edition, but is simple a box designed specifically for shipping the Ultimate Edition in. This concept was something we first tried with our Fullmetal Alchemist Ultimate Edition release last year and we were very happy with the results of that. Following on on from that we’ve taken feedback of our own, coupled with feedback we received from both customers and the retailers who shipped them, to create packaging that the Eureka Seven Ultimate Edition will be shipped in.

On the discs –

- In total there are seven discs included, 6 x Blu-ray and 1 x DVD. The reason for the DVD disc specifically is simply a case of how the discs were authored when used in another territory. But to be clear, this DVD disc is only some of the extra content, NOT any of the actual episodes. Here’s a specific breakdown for you
