WiP of Ryo Urawa/Greg in an uniform nicknamed as "Moonguard", holding up the banner of the first company (the rainbow crystal holders). I intended it as a tribute to his bravery which is unmatched in Sailor Moon.

I'll probably tweak it later.

I like the concept. It would be interesting to see Umino as a student wizard during the Silver Millenium.

I like the emblem design.

Update: No, not Umino (yet), as I'm slowly figuring out what I want to do and how I'm going to do it

The torso got a major overhaul with flak chestplate and combat jacket, as well as shiny new shoulderguards. Minor change is that the sword got moved to the other side (as Ryo is right-handed), and the cape/cloak got some corrections. Background is transparent now, maybe later on I'll get a screenshot from one of the episodes to insert him into. Most of the image is now cleaned up. More detail later.

The company banner got a change, as now it's the star locket over the sword, instead of the crescent moon behind the sword. I'm not sure about increasing the locket's size, as I'm rather clumsy in drawing five-pointed stars.

That's the plan. Warhammer 40000 is one BIG mashup of EVERYTHING ever produced. They even have the animesque tau.

Anyway, Update: Shadows, some details, and a nice banner trim.

Put the guy next to Ami on a background wallpaper I found: The shadows don't really fit, but it wasn't intended for that image anyways, so..

Huh, it actually looks pretty nice.

Finally got around to fix that, for those who were having problems. Again the background with Mercury is taken from somewhere else.

Finally got the inspiration for Melvin getting a robe and a staff, and going down into dungeons deep. Very early work in progress, but I intend to finish it in this weekend, as I'll be going to the family farm, where I don't have the computing tools I'm used to.

Couldn't find inspiration for the details, as well as the monster the Gurio is fighting, so I went back to Greg... He on the other hand, is just perfect: found a good pose for him, so WiP attached:

Although only tangentially related, here is a monster I had in mind today. The ice caves just..

I first drew the stalagmite the frostnid was occupying, then another, then another randomly, and then some cavern walls, two entrances, and before I noticed there was a random cave

^ The monster design has the potential to look epic - I especially like its crystal look & the electric flash (?) thing in its mouth.

I like the idea.

Text update: I'm at farm, lots of work, can't access my home computer, can't continue. I will be at home in about two weeks, and I'll continue then. Until then, I'll have to resort to pencils no CTRL-Z for me I guess.
