So the newly born princess already has odango & pigtails?
It's draw like that in the manga too

quite funny
So I guess my theory suggested in my last post above is also official. l o l
Rika you ruined me! Now every time I see an odango I think about a head skeleton, with odangos made of bone

By the way, I love the latest work you've done.

As I thought, your drawing looks better for female characters.
Thanks...
Women are just some curves... so they are easier

About GIMP... the quick version
To the right there are the
layers(or maybe levels):
it's like a pile of transparent sheets, your image will be the sum of all the visible layers. A higher layer covers lower layers. You can create new levels, delete them, set them invisible, change their order......
ex. you can import your pencil drawing (sketch) and put it in the lower layer, above you can use a layer to ink, above another layer for the color, another for shadows...
To the left there are all your
instruments:
just pass the mouse over them and there's a breef description.
Once one instrument is selected (click on it) on the lower part of the panel you can set some options.
You have to select the layer (to the right) an then you use the instrument over your picture, to select some part, delete, color... remember: the instruments always and only work on the selected layer.
when you
save the picture you can choose yourname.xcf, it's the gimp extensions... so you save all the levels/layers and you can continue with your project another time....
To save your work as a normal picture, you select only the layers you want to see, and save as a jpg format for example...
There are a lot of other things, you'll just learn using it.
