Hey guys! I thought this would be a neat thread. Post any custom-made Sailor Moon dolls or outfits. The following are NOT MINE. I saved them from the now defunct a Sailor Moon toys website. I didn't want these to be lost in the sands of time, since the artist did such a great job on them! I really admire this kind of work.

Please credit the artist, just like you would for fanart.

I don't know the artist name, just the website it's from (which is watermarked on the photos). I've had these images saved from years back.

Ohhh, those are some lovely dolls ;__; I love that Luna. <3
I haven't done custom dolls yet, but I want to, eventually - I'm planning on making my 2000 Irwin Mars into a Saturn sometime, and I'd also like to make a Human Luna with one of the 2000 dolls, too (probably the casual Serena one). I've also been wanting to do a custom Eternal Sailor Moon and Sailor V, too. Sadly those are just projects I want to do, so I don't really have any photos! I've also been wanting to fix up my really old Sailor Mini Moon Irwin doll from the 90s, since... well, sentimental value, and she's in pretty rough shape XD Sadly, it'll probably be awhile before I get the parts to do that.

...Sadly, my biggest barrier right now is that I can't really sew? Atleast, not to the level to actually make doll clothing. If I could, oh man, I'd love to do a Prince Endymion outfit (the one when he was Prince of the Earth) and some of the school uniforms. <3 I'm really surprised there isn't really any people doing Sailor Moon doll outfit commissions on etsy, to say that there are. I think there is an untapped market right there u__u I have a nude Moon Bandai Europe/Asia doll that I'd like to make into a schoolgirl Usagi, but I haven't seen the Bandai school uniform outfit online... and even if I do ever see it, I have a feeling it'd be pretty expensive. Eep!

I love the Bandai dolls, though; I actually saw a Eternal Sailor Moon Henshin doll with cut hair go up for auction awhile back, but she fetched a bit too much money than what I'd want to pay to use as a custom XD;

Her sewing skills were amazing, the outfits she made were so professional!

My apologizes. It's from the same site as the first post, I can't edit my post at the moment. I'm on mobile.

So, I'm not too into the Disney dolls as Sailor Moon characters, but I think Froggy did a pretty good job on her's:

Rapunzel Sailor Moon: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wz3vd4MPULs
Elsa Sailor Mercury: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oNZY6cV-F2w

Her videos kind of inspire me to learn how to sew the sailor fukus, though. Sewing doll clothing is an ability I want to have, but I'm pretty nervous going about it, I guess? |D; It's nice that she does the projects and records it, though - I'm a pretty visual person myself. I've been meaning to do a custom Sailor Saturn out a Mars I have (2000 Irwin), and I've been putting it off because I can't really... sew (as I've mentioned in my previous post, woo XD)

Some dA links, but I've really been impressed on some of the customs people have done with the recent Giochi Preziosi.
http://raulrt.deviantart.com/art/Sailor ... -365191306
rualrt had their customs made by curemoon.com, and I think they did an amazing job - I'm quite fond of Chibiusa in particular!

Usually the Monster High customs are hit or miss with me, and with one of the hits, I really, really love the hair on this Chibiusa custom: Image
(dA link here)

That hair is amazing! Personally I would have probably used a different base (maybe one of the Ever After High dolls), but that hair <3

I also really, really like it when people take abused Sailor Moon dolls and make them into customs, in particular of characters that never had any dolls. I really, really like this Galaxia doll dA link (image is a bit too big)
Her face is so sweet <3 Bwahaha, I'm really partial to the Bandai dolls though, in particular to the really tiny ones.

engelmech has some some stunning repaints on the Irwin dolls, too.

I think my favorite one out of those is Venus (and then Mars) <3 It just goes to show that Irwin could have put a little bit more effort into the inners eyes - They did an amazing job when they made Serenity, Super Sailor Moon, Neptune, Uranus, Pluto and Black Lady, but I think the inners left something to be desired retrospectively (I also like Saturn, but I think Saturn's eyes aren't quite as nice as the rest in that set)
