I have a question about the versions of Cutie Moon Rod. I know that only the Japanese has golden star buttons. But, apart from this, are there any other differences between them? E.g. the dimensions

The reason for this is I have a Japanese version but the body was badly burnt by the Sun :( . I'm just thinking if I can get another version of it and then replace the sunburn part. I really want the pink colour instead of yellowish orange

Thank you in advance!!!!

As far as I know they're the same, but I think it would be awfully risky and there's no guarantee it would fit perfectly. Not to mention expensive- it seems even the NA versions go for a pretty penny online.
I think people have had luck painting the pink parts of their moon toys before if you want to try that route.
One example I could find is from a person who (used to be? still is?) a member here I think.

This is an awesome example of a restoration she did on the sun-damaged pink part of the Moon Chalice toy.
ETA: If you look at other pictures on her deviantart, it seems she's done the same thing with a locket and the Moon Stick.

I saw the photos just now, it looked legit!!! :D
OMG, I've never done anything like this before. I've even opened the wand, tried to check the structures inside. ^_^'
