Sailor Mercury

Did u recognize that the Sailor Mercury outfit looks in another way on the shoulders than on the others?
Why is that? I mean, they all look almost the same, but just at mercurys outfit is the shoulder thing missing...

Did they just forget it or is there any other reason?

Although Mars lost that gem after the first couple acts of the manga after her appearance, and Jupiter's belt thing was only in preliminary designs. But yah, Mercury and Pluto always had the suits without sleeve things.

Personally, I always thought it was nicer without them!

IIRC, the proper term is "shoulder protectors".

Do you mean Dead Moon Circus? a.k.a Dream? Because she definately has them as Super Sailor Mercury (actually the girls technically go 'Super' at the end of Infinity and don't get their henshin phrases and attacks until Dream)

She still has no shoulder things (I say out of spite, hehehe) in the Black Moon story, it's when she gets the "super" outfits with everyone else at the end of Infinity.

During the Dead Moon story though, when they showed the Sailors in the Silver Millenium, Chibi Mercury had sholder protectors...

Yes, that's from the manga. It was a flash back about Nehelenia's dealings with Queen Serenity shortly after Princess Serenity was born. It was actually my favorite part of the story for that arc, but it was left out of SuperS anime. Too bad.

I love that part too. Even though it was obviously inspired/ripped off the Sleeping Beauty story but it was a cool part. By the way, Ms. Takeuchi really does have the same mirror in her room. It's a really cool design I think. I love Art Noveau which is the style of that mirror.

I meant the Black Moon as in the Ayakashi sisters and Demando.
