Because the original Amazon listings got pulled and there hasn't been any news on a new release date yet.

Sorta missed this yesterday because I thought it was an exclusive item for C2E2 but apparently this will be included with the first set.

For a slightly better look, it's here at the 1:09:36 mark: https://www.twitch.tv/c2e2three/v/55369749

Also the trailer for the set is at 1:07:15 and confirms that it will have all 14 episodes.

No release date yet, hopefully that's announced Friday at Anime Boston.

Has there been any word on if the Viz BDs will include the Japanese audio commentary tracks? If they won't be included, does Miss Dream have any translations of them? I've always been curious to know what it i was they talked about in the commentary. I'm a little disappointed they're splitting it up into 14 episodes like this when the original anime boxsets have at least around 24 episodes per set and especially since they're already pretty much done with dubbing the first two seasons of Crystal. I guess they got get their money's worth out of the series.

But it does make sense because it's different arcs. The dark kingdom and Black Moon are two different arcs so of course they would break them up

I suppose but I hope they'll at least make the Crystal sets cheaper. It will be annoying if you end up having to pay the same price as the 90s anime sets for less content.

They released half-season sets for the Classic anime, so half-season sets for Crystal isn't a surprise.

The pre orders were around the same price . Keep in mind the classic is an old anime,it was made over 20 years ago.So each set having more episodes make since. Crystal is a new anime ,so having less episodes in a set make since. Besides each arc is technically a season. So were still getting a complete season.

Incredibly pleased to see how similar it is to the Japanese release. :) Hopefully there won't be too long of a wait for the Black Moon arc either.

I'm extremely impressed with how loyal they've stuck to the original artwork.

Love that it is now a full season (not part or part 2)

yes, i know it's still only 13 episodes, but at least it's considered a full season now!

Interesting that they used that term rather than Sailor Guardians. :mischief:

That description is updated, and reverted back to Sailor Guardians.

I just ordered the set a while ago. I'm happy since it'll be like a late birthday gift to myself

ordered this one as well, a nice addition to my complete Japanese Limited ED set. More episodes in this set makes it cheaper than the Japanese version plus it will have the option to be played with subtitles. I prefer watching the original Japanese audio with subtitles rather than the dub so this is perfect :)

Great to see this finally announced. Hopefully the picture quality will be more competent than the classic series. I'm going to wait though and pick this up when Rightstuf has their Christmas sale. Unless the Limited Edition comes with some great extras (Would really appreciate it if someone could list the extras of both editions), I'll probably get the Standard Edition.
