By every guy (or girl) who is filthy rich, that is. Seiya = rich pop star, allowed to kiss. Mamoru = owns expensive sport cars and bikes, allowed to kiss. Haruka = owns expensive sportcars, bikes, helicopters, allowed to kiss. Is it just a coincidence that the only guy who didn't own a single sportcar (Prince Demand) was denied the kiss? :creeper:

Because we all know a prince can't be filthy rich.

I know this is mostly a joke thread, but I have a serious answer (which pertains to the manga and Crystal moreso than the 90s anime, but I believe it carries over). Usagi's heart is considered to be "pure" because she is not quick to judge people, and she wishes to seek out the good in other people and to be an influence over that good. The downside is that sometimes she's a little too slow to judge, meaning she can freeze up in situations like that, especially when she is feeling emotionally confused. Chalk it up to being an ENFP, and take it from someone who's been there, done that. :-P

The reason Demande didn't get away with it is because, unlike Haruka and Seiya, Demande was outright evil, malicious, and possessive. Haruka did it because it was funny. Demande attempted to destroy Crystal Tokyo, Usagi's future daughter and family, the world, etc. just so he could force the queen to belong to him, like a prize trophy. Usagi made no mistakes in judging his character-- he was evil, and he intended to steal her away from Mamoru and everyone she loved no matter how much it hurt her. There was a lot more at stake with him than with the others.

There's also the possibility that Takeuchi was drawing from experience-- maybe something like that happened to her and she decided to use it to the advantage of her story. But that's just speculation of course.

I can't even begin to tell you how much I appreciate everything you just wrote.
