Okay, well you asked for some information on my game so here it is!

Pretty Soldier Sailormoon: The Last Chapter

Plot Outline
A year after the events of Stars and Sailor Moon has found that her life has became a lot easier. Over the period of the 12 months, less and less youma have appeared, culminating in a peaceful six months. Mamoru has left for University again and is doing well, with daily correspondance between him and Usagi. Everyone is contentand things are going so well two weddings have been planned, those between Michiru and Haruka and Usagi and Mamoru.

It isn't until Usagi is running late for school one day when she believes she sees the witches five. The other Senshi try their best to pass it off as too much sugar, however, things go from bad to worse when Usagi is woken in the night by an astral projection of Guardian Cosmos. Chaos has attacked the Galaxy Cauldron and merged with it, making Choas the mother of every star seed in existence.

Things take a turn for the worst as a variety of villains from the past now return to the future. Anyone who has stood in the way of Chaos in the past is now under threat and the galaxy turns to Sailor Moon, the brighest star seed in existence. With the return of the Star Lights, the Animamates, the Amazoness Quartet and Sailor Galaxia returning to the side of good, Sailor Moon and the Senshi are thrown into a confusing battle where the lines between good and evil have never been so fragile.

Can Sailor Moon finally put an end to the evil that is Chaos and with the help of the other Senshi, save the world?

Information
The game is going to be really indepth so it will take a long time to create, so don't get your hopes up! It will focus on villains from a variety of places, the manga, the anime and the movies. There will be a high number of playable characters, each with their own battle set and attacks. I'm debating on the idea of using dialogue or not due to the size of the file, however, currently, I'm focusing on getting the main work done.

Progress
Due to the amount of sprites to be made, edited and maps to be ripped, things are going to be difficult. It'll take a while so please don't get your hopes up, but I'll keep you updating. Currently, I'm working on creating maps and all the sprites, facesets and monsters before I lay it all out in story format.

In RPGXP, you use events, where you use "show text" option to make 'em "talk". No idea about RM2k3 though, and that's cinnamon's using.

Cinnamon: it looks like the senshi sprites on the title screen are almost completely discolored and turned greyish-brown. I think they would look better in color.

I think she intended to put it that way.

It's still too early to say, but I'm going to try lengthen it out as long as possible. I don't want it to be a very fast game but I don't want it to be slow. There'll be hopefully sidequests and edits enough that when you finish, you can go back and do a variety of different things. I'll be making a website soon with ALL the details and such as.



They were purposefully desaturated for the title. I might change it later, I'm not sure. But for now? I like it!



I might do, there's certain songs I like from DiC that MIGHT make it into the game. However, I am a large fan of the japanese and original anime and manga so there'll be a lot of those types of songs used. We'll see, again, it's still too early to tell.

i like all about the game right now maybe you could put some more screenshots ,and try too make the fire soul attack a little bit better it really dont look like the real thing, it looks just like a lot pieces of it

Things are progressing a lot faster at the rate I'm going at the moment but still no definite times on anything. I'm currently working on a website that is 50% complete at the moment. Apart from that, still got some bits to do and need to get some sprites for Face Sets and Monsters. But all is going well!

how long is your game.

This question seems to come up quite a bit and I was supposed to answer to SGradeFreak but forgot to. Anyways, I can't exactly give you a definition of how long it's going to be until it's completed.

What I can tell you is I'm not going to be rushing things and I wouldn't be happy myself with a 5 minute game. I enjoy writing stories and being able to visually present this one, well, I'll be happy. This game has been in my mind for over a year and there has been tiny tweaks, edits and such as that have happened over that period of time.

It's now again, that it's what I'm concentrating on. I won't even estimate a time but I can tell you I am going to make it as long as I possibly can without either having a story that has been spread so thin it's weak or too much filler. I plan to get it just right.

So your answer? No idea, but as long as I can make it and keep it good.

Neptune violin tide.
I hade that same attackfor a sailor moon game lol. I had a sprite of neptune playing a violin while a tide of water came out

wow the screens are gooood especially the batlle scenes with neptune the attacks looks cool but i didnt know that she had a attack named violin tide

Violon Tide (Violon is French for violin) was a manga-only attack. I think she uses it only in the SuperS or Stars arc.

Okay, I need to find spriters for FaceSets and so many games have good guys so can anyone point me in the right direction? Anybody?

Danny (papillonrose) & April (firefly368) seem to be good spriters, but they seem pretty busy (I requested Danny to draw me a Metallia sprite but still haven't received any response regarding that... and it's been a while... It's about two weeks from now when I'll need to use that graphic for the first time)

Just a sneaky peak of the Sailor Starlights. 80% of Star Fighter was created by the marvelous Danny Mao. I used the base to create Maker and Healer so technically, 80% of those two were done by Danny as well!

Still got some more to do!
