Were you admitted already to the weekly Firefox Evangelists meetings? :P

Firefox has become bloated crap. What they used to accuse IE of being. Honestly, nowdays, IE and Firefox are virtually identical.

I've switched to google chrome and while it's still has some bugs it's a far faster, better, browsing experience than firefox was giving me.

But I am pretty much in love with google anymore. I use them for email, web browsing and android for my phone. I even send texts mostly through google voice at my computer when im home. If google made a car I'd probably drive that too!

Looks like Google is now being worshipped. :) A good business, especially nowadays, is like, or acting like, a religion, which involves gurus, deciples, fans, faiths, & the like. lol

Well i cant say Firefox is bloated since it runs just fine on my old Lifebook C1020. As for extensions i only have Adblock Plus, FlashBlock, Personas, DownloadHelper and Greasemonkey, which are very useful.

And anyway, as bloated as it might be, it still beats teh Interweb Exploder.
And yes, i use google chrome myself on my desktop PC, but it sometimes crashes on this forum. ^_^'

I want made a Sailor Moon persona.....did we need to download something? and I don't have photoshop.

Anything about Sailor Moon story, so it can be Luna or a group picture of the senshi or just a shadow of Sailor Moon standing posing on the Moon, etc.

Well, you gotta pay a price for speed, like a tradeoff. :)

That's why my fave browser is Firefox. I only use Google Chrome on my laptop, because it uses less resources.

And anyway, Firefox isn't *that* slow. At least it's faster than IE. :P And that i know from personal experience. I downloaded Sleipnir and surfed to EncyclopediaDramatica.com both with the Trident engine (IE) and with the Gecko one (FF). You have 1 guess which was faster. P-:

^ Well, FF is certainly faster if you use IE as a benchmark, :P so are some other browsers - I've used Safari & it's also noticeably faster than IE.

Not when loading the Top Pages screen - it sometimes freezes during that time, altho my PC is pretty fast. :x

Is your machine a Mac one? I think it runs smoother in Mac environments - it also takes a long time for me to load it on machines running Windows & the like, but after that it's still notably faster than IE in browsing. :)

nope, i tested in Windows XP. And i find it absolutely normal that it runs smoothly *at least* in Mac OSX :P , unlike IE in Windows 7. For some reason, both IE and FF crash in W7 when i want to select a path for downloading a file. But when choosing a path in Settings in FF, it doesn't crash any longer. And it's a genuine license, build 7600.

I find that ironical, as both are MS products. :P Tho on 2nd thought, it's not that surprising as they're MS products. P-: (I haven't yet used W7 myself, tho.)

Yes, i find that odd myself. :P Right now i see both are working right, i'll check again in the morning to see if they eff up.

Quite strange, i can't think of any cause. Could it be one of the updates i installed?

I use Internet Explorer (Don't know what version, though). I used to use AOL until I use a modem for faster uploading of my videos onto sites like Megaupload.

Looks like IE 9 will be the only modern browser not working on Windows XP. Microsoft apparently dictates an ultimatum to all their users to either go and buy Windows 7 or switch to Firefox. Oh well.

And they'll soon cease supporting XP w/ system updates, etc., too. While Firefox is nice, one will still need to use IE for better display of some sites, etc.

XP is among the better products of MS for its relative stability & reliability (& Vista is a flop, BTW :P ).

IBM was seen as the industry's big monster in the past, nowadays it's MS. l o l
