The item suddenly reminded me of Power Stone 2. I already posted this idea in another similar thread but its still worth mentioning.

It happens to everyone, so it's ok. ... hm ... What about making the Ginzuishou a special-use item that only Sailor Moon can use, and giving the other Inners their respective henshin gear?

I still say that a GOOD Sailor Moon 2D platforming game would be the best. Alternatively, there's my SM VS. Street Fighter idea as well...

In any case, think the most important thing is to get a video-game company who can both make a good SM game AND stay true to the history and universe of the franchise. I mean, look at all the effort Rocksteady put into their Batman games: proof that with the right company and people, any franchise-based video-game can be incredible.

Treasure and AKsys are the only game developers I know that can do 2d right.

What about WayForward? They do good stuff with 2D platforming.

Don't know them. What games did they worked on?

They operate in California and have done Shantae, Sigma Star Saga, BloodRayne: Betrayal, and plenty more. Full list here.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/WayForward

I'm confident that if anybody could do a SM platformer, WayForward would be in my top five choices.

I'd admit that I'd like to see them help with developing a new SM game, that takes the franchise into 'uncharted territory', so to speak - even if I haven't heard of them before.

I would love to see Atlus make an SM RPG. No matter how hard it is.

Or Nippon Ichi Software, they're the ones that gave us Disgaea.

I'm not sure I'd be willing to give 200 hours of my life away to level up all the characters if NIS made it.

Point taken.

Atlus would be the proper choice for an RPG.

One idea I've recently gotten is something along the lines of a BSSM mod for Team Fortress 2, where a few of the Senshi act as a occasional replacement for each of the classes. Don't know if it's feasible, but ...

That's true. The only issues would be how to map the Senshi in question so that they'd be: A) able to use the weapons that come standard with each class(e.g. the Heavy-class Minigun for Makoto), and B) how their henshin/special powers would work, if they even do work.

You just made me think of a great idea: a SM mod for Left 4 Dead.

I'd like to see a BSSM game like Tasofro's Grief Syndrome (based on Puella Magi Madoka Magicka). And the game automatically gets harder each lap. Have a stage from each arc so in total 5 stages with maybe one hidden stage. For example if Sailor Saturn dies, then it unlocks Mistress 9 stage.

http://wiki.puella-magi.net/Grief_Syndrome

But super smash senshi also sounds fun lol

Stages I can see for the PM3-based BSSM game: Juuban and/or the D-Point.

Crystal Tokyo ruins(R)

Death Busters' laboratory(S)

Nehellenia's palace(SuperS)

Galaxia's throne room(Sailor Stars)

The concept of a BSSM mod for Left 4 Dead sounds every bit as interesting as the TF2 one, and the SSB-verse idea.

The concept of a BSSM mod for Left 4 Dead sounds every bit as interesting as the TF2 one, and the SSB-verse idea.

I had almost the same idea:
1. starting in Juuban and then slowly shifting to the north pole
2. starting in Crystal tokyo and then to Rubeus' UFO
3. starting in DB school and maybe ending in another dimension (Pharaoh 90)
bonus stage : no actual level, just vs Mistress 9. this stage is available when Saturn dies.
4. starting in circus area to Nehellenia's place
5. from galaxy tv channel to Galaxia's throne room

Because the sprites from Grief Syndrome would look good for the senshi I suppose, most senshi would be melee, except Venus ranged, Saturn & Pluto mid ranged, Uranus sword.
But they should all have at least 2 of their usual attacks. Maybe just shabon spray freezing as normal and Mercury Aqua Rhapsody as special move.

Or maybe just use the moves suggested for the Super smash senshi, since the controls are kinda similar with Grief Syndrome.

A little OOT question, Grief Syndrome is a doujin game which really uses the characters, names, stages, enemies from the anime. But do they also need to clear this copyright thing? Because in other threads this was being discussed about right? Basically tasofro does the game from scratch but based on Puella Magi Madoka and they call it Grief Syndrome. So, can't the same be done for Sailor Moon?
Sorry for going OOT.

I would imagine so, truthfully. But that's sort of a 'gray area', regarding copyright issues, since the companies in question still might see it as infringement.

I've been playing a mod of MUA that uses Venus, Mercury, Mars, and Jupiter in place of Elektra, Iceman, Human Torch, and Ms. Marvel, but, I wish I could use Moon.... Anyone want to help me make Usagi? :innocent:

If I had any coding or scripting skills to speak of, then I'd help ... ^^;

I don't, unfortunately, and do better with administration than the technical aspect of computer programs or hardware ...
