Okay so I had just finished reading the Sailor Stars Manga and I have a question about what happened to Luna, Artemis, and Diana. Were they reborn? I thought that it was mentioned that they had Crystals like Sailor Cyrstals, which meant that they could be reborn. I know they weren't shown at the wedding, but I thought this was due to the fact that there really was no place for them there? Also, at the end, isn't the Cyrstal Tokyo future confirmed, which includes the cats? I'm confused. :S

As long as their star seeds weren't destroyed, they lived... and from what I gathered from Stars, Sailor Moon threw herself into the cauldron to save everyone... All the people who's Sailor Crystals that Galaxia had taken. From what I understand, all the star seeds were in the cauldron and Chaos tried to merge with the cauldron.

Then a bunch of shooting stars come out of the cauldron, and Ceres asks what they are. Cosmos says they are reborn Star Seeds that will return to their original form once they find their way back to their planets. Cosmos assures the Quartette that everyone will arrive in the 30th century safely, so yes, from this information, it's safe to say that the cats live too.

The cats were never killed, so they don't need to be reborn from the cauldron anyway. They were injured by Galaxia, and Usagi leaves them at home with her mom. She has a vision of them being killed later on in Sailor Lethe's river of oblivion, but it isn't real.

Its been so long but i would assume they were reborn too.

Seeing as how luna artemis and diana were important characters.

... That's right and I can't believe I forgot that. I clearly need to re-read the manga D:

Huh? How do you figure it's not real? in Act 57, Chibi Moon sees the dust left over from the cats' obliterated bodies next to the swingset. She isn't in the river of oblivion when she sees this, and Lethe and Mnemosyne had already been killed. She tells Sailor Moon that when she returned looking for everyone, the 3 cats were "yarareta ato de", meaning dead / defeated. She also witnessed Luna and Artemis disappearing in the 30th century.

They must've been reborn or Diana wouldn't exist in the future. What applies to Chibi Usa also applies to her kitten.

It just worries me because we didn't see them at the end of the manga.
I hope it was just an oversight on Naoko's part.

The Cats will just die and Chibiusa grows up without Diana in the future, that is what I believe...

I like to think they were reborn. The entire series is rather idealistic and a key good character (or 3) being dead at the end kind of ruins it.

diana being alive in the future clearly means Luna and Artemis recovered.

She is alive in a parallel future..not the future itself..
