How would this one go?

While, yes, the entire Dark Kingdom is fighting him, Metal Sonic is undoubtedly, Eggman's greatest accomplishment. Not only was he made to be just as good as Sonic, which was mostly a success, as Metal Sonic has always been Sonic's most formidable enemy and rival since Sonic CD came out in 1993, he is able to scan and copy data from others.

In addition to Sonic's abilities, Metal has numerous personal abilities. He can fire laser blasts from the cannon in his chest, fly by utilizing the rocket in his back, stretch his arms and legs to great lengths and strike from a distance, generate powerful electricity from his body, and generate a diamond-shaped force field (dubbed the "Black Shield") to protect himself.

Don't really see Metal Sonic winning really. He could do some damage, but not win overall.

Now if you replaced him with the true mecha sonic (Which was when Robotnik robotasized him in issue 39), the dark kingdom would be effectively screwed.

Queen Beryl was able to hold off a blast from the Silver Crystal for a short period of time, which takes a ton of power. Not to mention she destroyed the Moon Kingdom too.

I don't think Metal Sonic could stand a chance against her. The other members of the Dark Kingdom...maybe, but I doubt that he could even get past Zoisite or Kunzite for that matter.

Metal Sonic is able to scan his enemies, allowing him to adapt. Plus, who KNOWS what he could get from Beryl!

And I'm assuming Beryl would be last, so he probably copied a whole ton of abilities.

Who's to say he can't? He copied Chaos's abilities. (Turning himself into liquid metal.)

It's one robot verses armies of Youma, four Generals, Queen Beryl, and Metaria. On its own, Metal Sonic would have to deal with sheer numbers from the Youma and overpowering blows from the Generals and Beryl. On the other hand, I don't think the Dark Kingdom is familiar with technology as "advanced" as Metal Sonic.

If it was the Archie version of Metal Sonic, it would stand no chance at all, since it gets destroyed almost instantly in every appearence it makes. Game Metal Sonic... not on its own abilities, but in its Sonic Heroes form, it can definitely do some damage and could probably tie with Metaria itself for sheer firepower. Whether it could destroy Metaria, though, is a toss-up.

They have practically no experience fighting mechanical foes, let alone one as clever as Metal Sonic.

I wouldn't exactly call Metal Sonic "clever", though, at least not in its normal form. This is the robot who stupidly crashed into a wall trying to chase Sonic, after all. And though it has shown intelligence in Sonic Heroes, it was apparently a one-time deal (according to canon, Robotnik had since wiped its mind so as to restore it to "mindless robot slave" mode).

And then it regained its indepedence in Free Riders.

Although, if Metal Sonic transformed...

I can say the Dark Kingdom is truly screwed. Plus, Metal Sonic can do THIS. Although maybe it's just an awesome effect.
