I really hope the new anime goes the way of PGSM in terms of character development and focus. To some extent, but I kid you not I've actually seen non Magical Girl manga literally rip off Usagi and Mamoru's characters and the way their romance formed. It's not just the sentai aspect, but the characters, their personalities and the way situations and plot points evolve.
