Watching Sailor Moon Another Story for the first time

Yeah, it also gave her a clear background: A well respected sage. This game followed all the character's personality and further expanded it. It didn't make Haruka and Michiru jerkass as well.

Watching Sailor Moon Another Story for the first time

You can see all 10 senshi transform at once! I once made a video walkthrough of it in Chinese, tried to show all 10 senshi transform at once with animation.

Anyone else did not like Uranus, and Neptune in the 90 s anime

Manga didn't give them much characterization. While Michiru's goofy part in Cosmos was good and she was the focus. Anime gave them interesting roles and characterization, but didn't let them further develop and admit their mistake. It's more like "they are popular and let's keep them there"...

Did Naoko really write Mamoru well? Or it's mostly the anime's fault?

Yeah, not sure why didn't the writers make "Wiseman tricked him to do so". Me and my classmates all guessed that was the answer while watching it.

Anyone else did not like Uranus, and Neptune in the 90 s anime

They thought they were the only ones who knew what to do, but in truth they didn't know most of the key info and got little power. They were arrogant, blindly follow each other and refused to listen to others. Unlike the Inners would discuss and listen. The writers didn't let the Inner Four get...

Did Naoko really write Mamoru well? Or it's mostly the anime's fault?

Yeah there were many funny moments even though they still pick on each other. It's not the best but still got good climax. 90's Mamoru got great moments when he got the focus, the worst part was probably R, his "future self telling him to break up" plot.

@MamoRei4Life Your post was great, too bad it got deleted not sure why

Also I think due to obvious reason, they avoid to let other senshi interact with him much(other than Rei in Classic). Villains also only got "abduct and brainwash him" option.

Did Naoko really write Mamoru well? Or it's mostly the anime's fault?

I mean Mamoru and Usagi's romance was written well in the manga, the anime was too rushed. But Mamoru, as a character, was best handled in Classic Anime and R movie. Where he got his own relationship circle and his own goal. Even after being brainwashed the first time he still kept his...

As a HUGE fan or Michiru, yeah they were too headstrong and refused to work with others. At the same time they actually got little info.

    Sailor Moon's successes.

The manga gave quite good basic concept of the characters and has serious tone of fighting. But the anime was able to fill in the blanks to add friendship/characterization, also make it more like a Shonen anime. Some character obviously didn't go to Naoko's direction and resulted well, like...

    Sailor Moon's successes.

To be fair, some characters got good moments like Michiru in the beginning of Cosmos(it was from the manga), which I like it more than the 90s, which always focus on Haruka first. But overall yeah. It's not like the 90s anime doesn't have flaw, especially the last 2 seasons, but they need to...

Because Precure was their own franchise.

    Sailor Moon's successes.

Still I think Prettycure took SM's focus from Toei.

How has Sailor Moon affected your life?

As boy, it truly let me see that shojo anime could have such serious mainplot and fight. The Classic Finale showed us that sacrifice could be so touching, epic and beautiful. It let me watched a lot of shojo anime while many ended in disappointment, and also affected my own view of fictional...

Would you say Sailor Moon is the most action oriented magical girl anime or would you say there are other magical girl anime that are more action?

But still many baddies were either killed or redeemed after they were beaten. I am disappointed at many shoji fight anime because it lacks of firm villains.

I found out why Sailor Moon villain rocks but some iconic western heroines' villains were bland

The DIC version actually did a horrible job on butchering the Classic Finale's touching moments and sacrifices. Glad in China only a few love related lines were changed, and it greatly shocked me as a little boy. It was sad but also showing the strength of love. Till this day, many guys who...

I found out why Sailor Moon villain rocks but some iconic western heroines' villains were bland

To be fair, I think as Adora she got a lot of potential because she was raised by Hordak. But the show didn't focus but make her invincible and the villains nothing but clowns.

Action? You mean without a real convincing antagonist so the anime had to make one? SM was awesome because in most of the cases they need to really beat or kill the villain first rather than just use words to convince them.

I'm not talking about fights, but character clash. And She Ra has no equal opponent, other than one clone.
