I’m very much looking forward to Cosmos! Whether it’s on Netflix or via BitTorrent. The writing is bad, the animation is bad (though I think from what I’ve seen it looks half-decent). But the Stars arc is important to me personally so I’m still excited for it. :)

I think the only real filler episode in the 90s was the R epilogue which is just a glorified preview of the first episode of S and the girls breaking the fourth wall, but even that was entertaining.
