These are so cute. Simple but very competent designs that would’ve been great for animation. It still has a sort of shoujo manga design while still looking modern. Definitely should’ve been used for the remake instead of trying to copy the 2013-14 style.

I wanna shine a light on Kazuya Kuroda He only did 2 episodes during the S season (103 and 108 ) and it’s such a shame they didn’t keep him around. I love his varied shots and the animation was always fluid and fun, as well as the gag faces. Could’ve been one of the best had he stuck around.

Kagawa was by far the most consistent. He started off as probably the best animator/AD and kept that consistency until the end.
