In my opinion Miyuki was the best Sailor Moon EVER!

P.S. Anza looks like a caveman ^_^
Miyuki is pretty, but annoying. Ever since Fumina, their has been annoying trend of putting an annoying singing voice. I would put another senshi in the Moon's shoe just to make the musical better. (Personally, I hated Eri Kanda 'cause she was a bad Mars. I like Megumi Yoshida better when she doesn't sing HnM.) Anza is a good "Moon" because she is not annoying when he singing voice. But, thats my opinon, my 1st Amendent right. :)listens to "Alien Blood")

Oh please, Miyuki and Marina are NOT that bad. While I am, and probably forever will be, an ANZA fan, she is not the end-all and be-all of Usagi's role. Both Miyuki and Marina were great for the role; they're sparkly and genki and full of energy. Miyuki had a killer voice, and Marina's voice is quickly getting there as it grows more mature.

And I think there's a lot more that defines a good actress than what their singing voice is like.

It also have to be looks and acting. I do like Marina's acting since she can do emotiond (crying, sad, happy) very well. But leys compare Mystery Sagshi from 1st Stage to 4th Stage.. To be honest, I usally skip 4th Stage's Mystery Sagashi because the chorus is so annoying. But, Marina does sing a little good in that but still annoying (it hurts my head). (But, I can match my singing voice to 1st Stage's Mystery Sagashi then to Marina version.)

Point blank: I hated Fumina. I I think Miyuu sings better then Miyuki and Marina because it less annoying. Believe me............O.O; Maybe I can be like Simon Cowell but I am judging just their singing voice.

For someone who is judging them by singing voice, I'm surprised you turn around and say you hated Fumina. She has a much sweeter and better voice than either Miyuki or Marina.

I hated Fumina since I listen to LINK. She sounds like a sweet Sailor Venus, though (but not a Sailor Moon). And also, many (but not all)people don't like Fumina. One fan was really happy she left in a Yahoo group. For once more, I not judging people on only their voices...........Ok, if you want to go that way, who in Sera Myu was the most prettist but have a horrible singing voice? People need to understand each other first............

People need to understand each other first............
My thoughts exactly.

Certainly, Fumina was not the end all or be all of Sailor Moons - nor was ANZA, or Miyuki, and neither will Marina be. They all have something different going for them. Miyuki and Marina are not as vocally strong as ANZA or Fumina, but that doesn't mean that Miyuki and Marina are annoying, or that they're any less qualified to play the part.

While it is important to keep an actress' vocal strength in mind, that's not soley how they should be judged. It's a musical, yes, but they've also got to be able to dance and act. If they sing like an angel, but they dance like me - trust me, it's not pretty - I'm less likely to enjoy their performance than, say, someone who's equally good at all things, but doesn't necessarily excel in any. (Besides, both musical talent and good looks tend to be subjective; we're never going to have perfect harmony in this debate.)

Personally, I love all of them, and for different reasons. ANZA has what I've come to call the Ballistic Usagi quality about her. Smart about-face from cheerful schoolgirl to a soldier who's all about business. Her scream at the end of Sorezore no Elegy was absolutely devastating. In the end, I suppose it was her range of emotions that impressed me most.

Fumina didn't have the emotional range ANZA did, but her voice was incredibly high qualit, and she definitely wasn't all that bad in the cheerful!Usagi department. In all honesty, she made a much better Neo Queen Serenity than she did Usagi. (She was a great straightwoman to apron-wearing Endymion in Kaguya K. ...Also, is it just me or is there something intrinsically wrong with Endymion wearing a frilly pink apron?)

Miyuki had her moments of angst (LDJ especially, after what happens to Mamoru), but she was much better suited to a cheerful Usagi. The Dracul arc was a mess, much as I love it, and I honestly spent more time watching Yuuta and Ono-sama than I did Miyuki. That being said, I certainly didn't feel the need to fast forward through any of her songs, and I still love both the original and remixed The Last Change.

Marina has really, really come into her own since Black Lady. There were some stellar vocal moments in Ryuusei; Moon Memories comes to my mind. She's gotten more comfortable in her voice, in her acting. I didn't think she was suited for a Stars Usagi at first, but she played it nicely, and it's suiting that her maturity appears in a show that needed it more than Black Lady or even Mugen.

So maybe Fumina was the "worst" Usagi. But I would definitely not go so far as to say any of them were bad. All of them were great vocalists and dancers, and far above average actresses. There have been actresses who are far less skilled in various Senshi parts, whom I've felt the need to fast forward through when they sing or have a long speaking part, but I've never felt the need to do so with any of the four Usagis.

P.S. Anza looks like a caveman
Yes, I'm sure cavemen were wearing short, sparkly skirts back in their day. And I never once saw her drag her knuckles on the ground, although I have yet to see the glory that is Gaiden. Maybe I just missed it?

Did you see Rei-chan look in Gaiden? She look like a guy and I didn't recognize her in her appearance. I have Gaiden on my computer, the whole thing. (Look how big the Cutie Moon Rod is, it can clank Queen Beryl in one hit.)

Well, that may be true, but we were commenting on ANZA and her apparent Neanderthal-esque appearence. As I said, I've never seen Gaiden, so I can't make any judgements one way or the other about Rei.

Being as the only musical I've seen live in Japan was Mugen, I guess I'm a little biased. While Anza is my favorite, Marina doesn't really irritate me either. And trust me, if I can say that after having her voice squealing in the speakers next to my seat for two hours, there's got to be more annoying things out there. Fumina and Miyuki are my least favorites, mostly because Fumina never seemed very Usagi-like to me in the first place, and Miyuki yells way too much. Which is why, between the four stages, I've watched the second and third stage musicals the least. And I'm really against the whole musical actresses graduating to be porn models basically. It completely ruins their image, or at least completely ruins the musicals they were in for me at least.

There's also the fact that video/audio cannot capture all of someone's voice. Actually being in the theatre will usually expose you to the true voice that might not be what we hear on the tapes/DVDs/CDs.

A friend told me that the lyricist, the person who wrote "La Soldier" and "Destined Couple" past away. A female, I think. In Kakyuu's Program book, there's a whole page explaining why it's Final Second Stage. It was her passing away combined with the fact that it's a Stars musical. Stars ends the stages and Kakyuu was the end of the Stars arc. But anywho, yes, the musicals will continue. This woman wrote the themes for all the musicals before Starlights.

Ex: Moment Fatal, We'll Be The Last Victory and many others.

This explanation may sound strange, but it's the fundamental reason why it's the "Final Second Stage".

Marina-Moon is a keeper. ^_^
I thought it was because all the orginal 8 senshi left.......only Marina is left from the begging of the musical....;.;

BTW, I saw Ryuusei Densetsu! I enjoy it very much. Yuu sounds like Kenji and is cute. :o But, I miss the Yami wo Utsukushii's and Sailor War Supreme's old dance moves. But at least the Starlights have REAL instruments opposed to those cardboard cuts out in Stars. And, Saturn Does anyone have the summary of the musical? Because it was very intresting to see more Mamoru and and a lots of "-sama" going around (Maybe it based on the manga) Galaxia was very animated (her face was mostly) and I enjoy that.
Favorite song: Pinky Typhoon, Prince of The Earth.

I'm not sure it was necessary to quote my entire post just to argue with me about semantics. Yes, you said she looked like a caveman. I was making another entirely seperate point, with a little bit of added sarcasm thrown in. But obviously, since I used sarcasm, I'm not "paying attention" when I read. I should really reconsider this English minor thing.

I guess I should be thankful that you like my avatar, though.

Firstly, that's assuming Ken Yuen, or other fansubbers, decide to take it up as a project. And secondly, can't we all just be nice for ten seconds? She asked a simple question, and a simple, "There will probably be a fansub coming soon" would have sufficed.

Ken Yuen is usally busy.......I just want a summary of the Musical because their was a lot I couldn't understand (Between those tsuki no PRINCESS, Endiymion-sama, Prince, Princess, "Omoidashite"and a Serenity, I didn't get it for a bit). And in the Yahoo Group of Seramyu, they didn't have a summary of the summer musical.
