Yes, it is working now.

They never made a Sailor V OVA, sadly. I believe these photos are from the period when Naoko Takeuchi pitched her idea to TOEI back in the early-90s. But it’d be interesting to see what you can do with the photos.

I'd love a new anime expanded like PGSM, but not an animated adaptation of PGSM.
They could keep some of the elements such as everyone having the power to disguise (they could use an app now, apps downloaded from the Moon Tower, lol).

Fleshing out Motoki was great, but I feel like they merged him with Umino, Umino should be brought back, same for Unazuki...while they're at it they could even tie in 90s anime characters to fill in where needed (Uwara, Yuuichiro)

I'd want it more tightly plotted with more interesting Youma.
Basically, an amalgamation of what has come before and fresh new stuff. If they could keep each arc about 26-52 episodes, even better...and maybe even add filler arcs that were shorter based on the musicals.

PGSM wasn't perfect but the pacing was better than a lot of the other stuff we've had and the more mature themes presented with Rei's father and Minako's disease would keep older fans invested. As long as it doesn't get made by the CW. ;p

Netflix is adapting Yu Yu Hakusho as a live action. Apparently, there is a list of anime titles that Netflix wishes to adapt. Because Netflix is global and it knows the international strength of Sailor Moon, I wonder if Netflix would ever consider expanding the universe of Sailor Moon. Animated version or not.

I thought you were taking a graphic design course and studying to be a graphic designer.

What do you plan to do after finishing high school?
Go to SCAD seems like the idea. I've been writing/developing concepts and scripts for my own TV show for years. and SCAD seems like it has things for animation, writing etc. while being closer to home...... It's just really expensive I hear. but my family says that can be worked out

^That work you posted resembles Naoko Takeuchi’s style in the early-00s when she recreated the manga covers.

I like it a lot!

Did you draw it yourself?

I don’t draw human bodies (I draw abstract figurative and geometric patterns & prints), but what I tend to do is to draw my original work and it doesn’t matter if it looks too messy at first.

I take a photo of my original work (a raster file) and then vectorize my lines using Adobe Capture or Autotrace and create a vector file.

To make the lines even more perfect, I export the vector file to Adobe Fresno and manually trace all the lines myself.

I am not a trained artist, I just draw as a hobby. I use an Apple Pencil.

Yes. I tried looking more directly/copy those pictures and then use much smaller lines so the details could be clearer. For the rest if the body I had to more or less guess.

you are good at drawing! 0w0

the only animated references to Takeuchi's style of those times are these fanmade videos.

I don't really like this particular Takeuchi's style used also for shinsouban (the senshi look too young), but these videos are proof that her style can be animated, and in a nice way too (here the only exception is the youma lol)!

in the days of live action (PGSM) there was a bit of the related merchandise with art by Naoko Takeuchi, If you search the internet you can still find some. ^^
