There is a character called Maria in Umineko and she has a similar kind of staff and a plushie though her plushie is a lion. Also Beatrice is associated with golden butterflies . Maria is a small girl who dreams to become a witch just like Beatrice and this is how I imagine her version of Beatrice to look like.
