I've always thought it was a little strange how Mika Kayama only appears in the anime, even though she's mentioned on Shingo's design page in the Materials Collection. This makes me think Naoko came up with the character and was going to include her in the manga, but then never got around to working her in. It would have been nice to see her show up, if only because it would have helped flesh out Shingo a little bit.

I'd also love it if Yuuchirou were in the manga (but as a "big brother" type character for Rei, not as a potential love interest).

Fiore, Ail/En and Ryo. Of course I appreciate Yuuichirou’s character but I’m not sure he would fit Rei’s tone in the manga, the former 3 don’t conflict as much. (Except Fiore, that would require Naoko to dismantle some of her bias and be willing to be more inclusive of queer men instead of just women)

I would like a continuation to “Casablanca Memories” with Yuichiro.

Let Rei connect with someone who doesn’t lie and isn’t manipulated by her father.
Good choice! I like Yuichiro because he never lied to Rei or wasn't maniplated by her father.

Galaxia being evil when the bracelets are removed was also a plan in the manga that made it into anime which Naoko scrapped.
It would be interesting to see a Chaos Galaxia fighting Cosmos in the anime and manga which I think was Naoko's original plan that she scrapped.

It would be actually interesting to see the Mirror Parodies in the dream arc.

Why would anyone want an anime-only character in the manga? I can understand the other way around since the anime would have taken the basic idea and/or design of the manga character and significantly improve on them, but what do you gain from the opposite? Why would you want an interesting, well-crafted character become a single-panel, useless, non-entity? You don't go from steak to sloppy joe.

The anime had some really good minor characters whom I would like to see more in the light of day, is how I take the thread, in general.

This is a good point...in my mind, since we are imagining characters from the anime we would like in the manga (and this is purely imaginative fancy), I also pictured a (new) robust and rich manga, where everything could be explored, and these characters would have even more time.

Conversely, if it was to be the original manga, they would likely be one panel or less blips, as you say.
