While I prefer the Japanese names from their attacks, many don't make any sense in English but I like them both, sometimes one better than the other. Anyways, my personal take on a few of their anime attacks. Personal opinions.
Mercury
Bubble Spray Sounds strange considering the bubbles arent tiny drops of liquid even if it does look like a bubble. However, Bubble Spray makes sense based on the aftermath since the fog are tiny molecules of water vapor. I prefer Mercury Aqua Mist because it sounds more accurate, then I pick Bubble Blast because it "sounds powerful" and fits the motion of her arms in the 90's anime. Though, Bubble Spray is often regarded as a weak attack, it really isn't considering how extensive it is. Including Bubble Spray Freezing which freezer on contact meaning she drops the temperature below 31° F which is enough to kill a human, however, we are dealing with supernatural beings, so upon it's first appearance, Bubble Spray core temperature must have been lower. I tend to consider Mercury formidable because she can change the surrounding environment, cast illusions, has a computer that can pinpoint weaknesses, and is extremely intelligent. The only thing "holding her back" is that she isn't aggressive.
"Shine Aqua Illusion" kinda makes no sense in English to me and should be Shining Aqua Illusion, Shining Ice Stream, or Shining Ice Illusion.
I like Mercury Ice Storm Blast as it does carry the the Blast suffix of her previous attack.
Shine Aqua Illusion is a collection of freezing water and ice which to me is an ice version of Jupiter Coconut Cyclone when she forms it into a storm which she seems to be able to do in the 90's anime.
In the English version, the Senshi made a remark about a monster they were battling having ice powers that were more brutal than when they were in the North Pole (I know that doesn't make sense for obvious reasons) but it does show how powerful Mercury's Shine Aqua Illusion attack is if she can counter that evil Snow Fool. It also makes me wonder about its usage during the S movie because well....
Jupiter
Supreme Thunder brings forth a lightning bolt. Lighting destroys the human nervous system, and can cause blood vessels and arteries in the brain to rupture and burst and create "burns" all over the body. For the most part Jupiter seems to use it to stun, and only does a true fatal bolt of lighting in the last episode against the DD girls. Lighting can get hotter than the Sun (the upper part) so it's interesting how Jupiter's attacks are considered some of the most powerful. Her bolts of lightning travel faster than Mars' fire, and can travel around Mercury's water and cover more range imo. I prefer Jupiter Thunder Bolt over Supreme Thunder and Jupiter Thunder Crash.
Supreme Thunder Dragon - an underutilized attack of a dragon made of pure electricity which more massive than almost any form of lightning she has created. I'd imagine it's power must be similar to the fatal bolt she created in Classic. This could take out multiple enemies as it pretty much would eat and electrocute them to death.
Sparkling Wide Pressure (Jupiter Thunder Clap Zap in English) is mentioned by another poster to be 10x stronger than Supreme Thunder which should pretty much scare you enough to not be hit by it. However, it really suffers (imo) because it can be dodged. It also is (imo) not as fast as Supreme Thunder, at least imo...
I would totally liked if she included this move with her martial arts attacks, similar to how she attacked a Diamon in S with a blast right to the gut. I prefer Jupiter Thunder Clap (I just don't like the Zap part much) I like Sparkling Wide Pressure too but I'd like it to be called Electric Wide Pressure or Thunder Burst Shock or whatever.
Mars
As someone posted, Fire Soul (Mars Fire Ignite in English) can get hot and it can be as hot as the first layer of our Sun. This makes me believe that like Mercury, Mars can control the temperature output of her attack. This attack is way more powerful than the general Super Mario Bros 3 fireball. I've seen her create small sparks of fire but on her first appearance she was killing monsters and created a column of fire and set two DD girls ablaze like old mail with a wall of fire. I prefer Mars Fire Ignite over the other chants. It just flows better.
Fire Soul is a pretty attack in the way it has been performed. The R movie has the best version of it and its just an overall devastating attack since she has a variety of ways to use it. In the S season it can wipe out waves of enemies which is what she should have done during the S movie on the Snow Dancers but ya know....
I think it is more effective than Supreme Thunder and Bubble Spray because it covers more area while also devastating multiple enemies. It can distract and destroy.
Fire Soul Bird is pretty much a Phoenix being thrown at you but like Fire Soul it can be dodged depending on its scale. When Mars adds her spiritual powers through her scrolls though, it become a hitman. It doesn't have to be throw at you, it's coming after you directly now since it has gained some intelligence. It will dodge all your attacks because it wants to devour your soul and there is nothing you can do but stare at it in shock like all the enemies do in the show...
Fire Soul v2 (Mars Fire Star Flash in English)
Supposedly this was much powerful version of Fire Soul. It was mentioned Sparkling Wide Pressure is 10x stronger than Supreme Thunder. If that's the case, and adjusting Mars Fire Star Flash power output 5x -10x should be about 50,000 - 100,000 degrees of death (if it's that high of an upgrade.)
What I'm about to say is blasphemy but I don't find Burning Mandala useful enough in the 90's anime. It just looks pretty and that's it. The Crystal version (Season 3) of it looks and operates better. A barrage of massive fireballs, which are more powerful than her original attacks is good stuff. If Fire Star Flash had temps between 50,000 - 100,000 but was matched by Koan's Dark Fire, and Koan's Dark Fire was dismantled by Burning Mandala it means they are real hot since blue fire is the hottest type of fire. Her rings can move in different directions and I guess that cool.... I think.
Venus
Crescent Beam collects energy from the Sun which means Venus can give you some serious sunburn from those UV rays. She pretty much kills all the your living skin tissue and from lifting only one finger which means big ouchies for enemies. Crescent Beam is also the fastest first attack of all the Inner Senshi and unless she intentionally decreased the beams energy, this move is supposed to kill whatever it hits on contact. I prefer Venus Crescent Beam Smash over just Crescent Beam. With Smash added it kinda lets you know whatever it is about hits is about to be utterly destroyed.
Crescent Beam Shower (Venus Crescent Beam in English) is pretty much a Crescent Beam army(maybe that wasn't the right word....) but so many that you don't have enough time to even pull out your SPF 50,000. So this is pretty much a machine gun of powerful light that can once again kill multiple enemies on contact but seems really scaled down in the anime but from what is shown it can be really devastating. I prefer Crescent Beam Shower over Venus Meteor Shower.
Love Me Chain looks really nice but as with the other attacks (outside of Mercury) even though they are states as being more powerful, the look like downgraded versions of their previous attacks. However, it's imo, the most useful attack every created outside of the disguise pen. It can be used as a weapon for both hurting or restraining enemies, a method of rescuing allies, and can heal/stun (at least manga and Crystal). It can cover long distances, it can support an unknown amount of weight, and I'm wondering if it can suspend itself in air if she wants it to, it can be used as a swing or to play jump rope. This attack is actually one of my favorites from the first two Seasons (Wink Chain Sword is my favorite of hers power wise).
