Ok, so finished reading the Sailor Moon TTRPG book from MissDrama’s site off my Kobo Libra eReader.
Text is hella small and near the end of said guide has a lot of dead links, like The Save Our Sailors campaign site.
And they are the same people that did BESM TTRPG books that I picked up the PDF files from DriveThruRPG site.
I still need Veil of The Eternal Night bundle that they posted on their site and the newest D&D core rule books they released last year. All they need is the Monster Manual, which shall be released next month.
So what caught my attention is that Haruka’s dub name was Corrin. Same protagonist name of my favourite Fire Emblem games, Fire Emblem Fates, and I got said Neodroid.
Michiru was going be Nerissa. I think I prefer her Cloverway Dub name, but yeah. Didn’t like they were consider cousins. Like we really need to censor sexuality because it’s going after the kids.
Although, they used the pic of Hotaru/Sailor Saturn with the most flattened hair possible. Like she doesn’t get enough beef for being flat chested.
The Children of Mercury was an interesting GM campaign.
Have Jaedite revive in 30th Century Crystal Tokyo. Then he uses youma to poison the water supply and kill Sailor Pluto.
Other than that, it’s amazing it was an official product during that time.
Because girls weren’t interested in getting into TTRPGs and TCGs, since it was a market geared to boys around that time. Like Pokémon TCG. Hell, yesterday morning was a big lineup for said Pokémon TCG bundles coming out at Silver Goblin.
I came out buying Magic cards and one pack, which came up to 13$CAD. I loled because I picked out a Giant Beaver card from said pack.
Still, it’s frustrating that Naoko is a one hit wonder and somehow she’s to blame for the success of her works.
Sad really.
