I used to be reasonably active there but over time it seemed to me that most members of the subreddit (and, the Facebook Sailor Moon Group too) are only into surface-level consummerism (mostly showing their merch) or tend to suffer from blind worshipping of the creative "genius" and be overly wary of anyone who dares to go against the grain. They seem to put Naoko Takeuchi (and the manga, by extension) on a pedestal as if she's above anything else, because poor stressed Naoko-hime can get away with anything, including hideous faces and proportions and confusing action scenes, because that's her style, because it's the author's view, because corporations bad, the manga it's how Sailor Moon was meant to be, because she's a woman and the anime was too shounen and so on and so on... It sounds like juvenile parrot talk to me.
