I've always liked Dark Lady (I prefer that name over "Black Lady" for obvious reasons) as a character. She's sexy, sensual, and worked amazingly as a villain. I couldn't believe she was the same person as the annoying Chibi-Usa. She's one of my faves.

I think she would have worked better for me, specifically in the manga, if they played up or created a gap between her physical age and her actual age. I would have loved Black Lady as an SM equivalent of Claudia from Interview with the Vampire.

In the anime, she's pretty lame and useless, and her transformation is gratuitous. I also hate how the anime removes Pluto's role in saving her.

In the manga, I think she's pretty cool.
