Does anyone have any idea what Ami was trying to do here?

It looks more like junior high math than those written by Einstein on the blackboard, tho, certainly not being able to show any exceptional genius of her. lol

Do you have math allergy?
It truly is my Kryptonite.
Must...go...recharge...

Sad to say, my mind immediately just sees a jumbled mess. No matter how hard I study, I can't understand those kinds of things.
I can't say the math is gibberish, because it does look similar from what we do in college.
Then you have my respect and pity. It looks terrifying to me.
I wouldn't even know where to look to get started in that.

You could get started on a proof someone wrote a hundred years ago to demonstrate that 1+1=2. No, seriously, someone did that.

I suppose it looks to you like a foreign language that's unintelligible to you lol - math equations, formulae, etc. are essentially a (very concise) language for communicating ideas. :)

And you have to learn Greek letters, although this is relatively straightforward (particularly if you happen to be able to read Cyrillic like I can). And get familiar with Roman numerals for certain subjects (like how Chemistry uses them because they had too many Hindu-Arabic numerals in the same formulae)

That's a pretty good way of putting it

Imagine trying to do math and getting jumped by a foreign language.
