wat does venus mean when she say half a year more in act 18. She got some terminal illness? She fainted in Act 17..but i thought Sailor Senshi would not grow old or have sickness?

She has to pretend to be the princess for half a year to give Usagi and the others time to toughen up and grow into their roles as Senshi.

Having read Act 17 and act 18’s preview synopsis, I have a theory about how this all works together.

I think the arranged marriage thing is correct and that the arrangement is for Mamoru and that girl to be married after graduation, which is probably about 6 months from now. The phone call could have been the person who arranged the marriage trying to get Mamoru to move the wedding date up. During the call, Mamoru seemed quite shocked and defensive as he reminded the person he had until graduation. Whoever it was, they obviously have some kind of leverage with Mamoru to be able to make him do this when he's obviously reluctant.

Remember back when Sailor V told Sailor Moon to stay away from Tuxedo Kamen? Sailor Moon said she couldn’t and Sailor V mused something to the extent of I guess fate can’t be changed. Meaning that trying to keep SM and TK away from each other wasn’t working.

My theory is that Sailor Venus and Artemis knew of Mamoru’s arranged marriage all along and maybe even had a background hand in the arrangement. The plan could be for Venus to pose as the Princess until Mamoru is married. After that, the real Princess could be revealed and it would be too late for her and the Prince to get together.

I think Minako is stressed out from continuing this ruse and from worry that the plan will fail.

For what it’s worth, that’s my theory.

Isn't it like a common Japanese sort of phrase to be like "You need 10 more years of training to catch up to me!" or whatever ammount you want (10, 100, maybe in this case half a year). It seems like I've heard it a lot in a lot of animes etc.

How would Sailor V be that closely involved with Tuxedo Mask? They once fought over crime theft in Act 1. Plus, I'm sure Sailor V was talking about Serenity and Endymion's romance when she mentioned fate. Therefore, she probably knows a bit about the past. And maybe she is trying to separate those two in order to prevent the same thing happening again in this lifetime.

Or I could just be wrong. :grey:

I don't know much about this Minako, but I would think that even though she may remember about the Silver Millennium falling and the forbidden love between Endymion and Serenity, she wouldn't try to break them up in this new life, right? There wouldn't be a reason because they were all born on the same planet, their love wouldn't be forbidden, etc.

Or perhaps I'm just trying to make her seem more noble or something. I could be wrong. It's been known to happen. :wink:

My thought is somehow along the lines of Luna Hope, in that, Minako only has another half a year to keep up the disguise that she's the Princess. Maybe there's some significance to when she can reveal who the real Moon Princess is in 6 months and perhaps Artemis told her to do so. But my guess is, that the sheer mantal of Moon Princess sans Ginzuisho is quite powerful in itself and Minako can't handle the power and maybe that's what's making her sick? I know that it's a bit far fetched, but it's all that I've got.

I'd say that Venus is not properly tuned to the energy that role requires, rendering her incompatible with it. Does that make any sense to you?

I think "mantal" was supposed to be "mentality" :lol: I understand what you're getting at. (It would be really funny if the ginzuishou was giving her radiation poisoning though. Scientist: "The geiger counter goes NUTS whenever Sailor V comes by!")

But yea, maybe her faking being the princess is exhausting her? I can definitely understand that reasoning.
