But wouldn't that mean she KNOWS she's not the princess? I thought she really was told she was the princess and believes it herself. :?
She knows she's not the real princess. That's why she stays seperate from the other senshi, so the youma and the Dark Kingdom would follow and attack her and not the real princess, Sailor Moon.

If she believes she were the real princess, Venus would most likely have some sense to rely on the help of others, but the fact that she told the others to go about their business and let Venus do "princess stuff" suggests something suspicious...

And if she knows she isn't the princess, it clearly explains why she told Mars to get the youma instead of sticking around her.

That's a good one. But I didn't know Ginzuisho had radiation power. :lol
At the end of the world there will be cockroaches, Cher and Sailor Venus! :P

I think "mantal" was supposed to be "mentality" I understand what you're getting at. (It would be really funny if the ginzuishou was giving her radiation poisoning though. Scientist: "The geiger counter goes NUTS whenever Sailor V comes by!")

But yea, maybe her faking being the princess is exhausting her? I can definitely understand that reasoning.

Actually, maybe "title" might've been a better word. Yeah, the sheer fact that she's disguising herself as the Princess could be what's making her sick. And in the manga wasn't her initial mission when she awoke (after being Sailor V) wasn't it to essentially be a decoy? That would imply that she knows that she's not the Princess, but then she doesn't know who Serenity was reincarnated as.

hmm this is my perception :

“Engagement?” Makoto says.

“Fiancée?!” Ami says.

“Ugh, I’m so disappointed! I can enjoy myself if only this feeling would go away!” Usagi says

“Half a year more,” Minako says.

usagi shared that (mamoru being engaged) to everyone, and that was what everyone respond with

~SIGHS~ Except in the Act 18 preview, it says MAKOTO finds out from Mamoru's friend that the chick is Mamoru's fiance.

This sentence really threw me in a loup, I wonder what she's talking about. I really hope that doesn't mean we have another half a year of waiting to see that Usagi really is the princess.

Also, poor Usagi :( , She'll be crushed when she finds out he really is engaged.

Luna Hope, I love your icon. It's so adorable. By the way, that's an interesting theory, although I don't think she would try to separate them, other then the small part of acct 7 where she said that line. Although she did say that line in act 7, but it may have been because she thought that Sailor Moon wasn't the princess, plus she doesn't know his identity, since in act 15, when she saw his human form, she referred to him as the man, and didn't know his other identities yet, plus in act 7 she seems to let them be, since she never makes any comments after, and Sailor Moon said she thinks Sailor Venus understood her. Another theory could be that Sailor Venus thought that she really was the moon princess and thought that it was her and Tuxedo Kamen who were lovers in their past lives since in the live action version it seems like V thinks she really is the princess, because when Sailor Moon isn't around Artemis still calls her princess. There's so many theories.

Dear Usagi and Mamoru,

Thank you for the compliment on my avatar. You made my day since I worked really hard on it. ^_^

That scene is my favorite one (so far) in the show. Usagi and Mamoru are riding on his Honda Shadow ('Me and my shadow...' ^_^), and they are totally unaware that this ride subtly marks the beginning of their trip towards their destiny together. Like most people, Usagi and Mamoru won't realize they have started this trip until they're already a good part of the way there. ^_^

Now to the actual topic - I forgot Minako and Artemis didn't know who Mamoru was when they discussed his being injured while he and Usagi fought the Youma after the reverse jewelry heist! Well, that totally blows my theory out of the water! ^_^;; Kudos to you for such good memory of details and deduction skills. ^_^

I'll admit it. Now I'm at a total loss as to the logic of PGSM's plot and where they're going with it. They've got me completely confused and I just wish they'd hurry up and explain themselves so I can decide if I like what they're doing or not. I wish Friday would hurry up!

Sincerely,

Luna hope (who's  with impatience!)

In Act 13, he had a white motorcycle. Then in Act 15, he has a black motorcycle. How many motorcycles does he have? Does he have that kind of money to buy TWO motorcyles? Or did the production staff just screw up?

BTW, Luna Hope, very nice avatar..........

Hum..half a year more as acting as the princess. Its quit odveous that Venus knows that Moon is the princess because at the end of what ever act it was, the one where they give Minakos jewels back, mina was like it would have been bad if Usagi was hurt and then artemis goes yeah that would defeat the whole purpose of this. So they know. She also knows about Tuxedo Kamen and her, thats why she sorta let their relationship be at the end of that one episode.

If it is half a year before Moon is revealed as the princess, I hope that is in "TV Time." Otherwise, there will be tons of filler episodes between now and June! (Of course, if you look at the board in Usagi's classroom, the date is always around the date the episode airs. So maybe we will have to wait until June for the "suprise.")

Actually, [THE HAPPY PLACE] did an article on (Anime/Manga) Mamoru's expense account. (I think that was how I found this site... ^_^ ) Here's a link to part one of the article: http://www.sailormoon.ws/archives/070603.html

This series seems to have the most cryptic lines of any I've watched since "Twin Peaks"! I wonder if the "six months" refers to the amount of time Minako feels she has to work with before Beryl and Metalia launch their main attack! If it is, I wonder how the writers will work the six month timeline into a show hat is supposed to have only about 10 or so acts left in this story arc! Of course, we get this quote in a totally isolated, out of context situation! We could all be DEAD WRONG in our surmisings here! :?

Maybe Minako think the charade will last til June, however, seeing how in manga the unveiling of the Princess was unexpected....I can see how Tux's "death" might throw a wrench in Minako's timeline. It just makes everything that more exciting.

I don't know if any of you noticed, but the NIHON fansub translated that final line of the preview slightly differently.

The line now becomes a melancholy "All that's left... is half a year?"

I was sceptical of the whole medical explaination before, but now I'm not so sure. It certainly reads like someone has been given a medical prognosis. Nothing 'ole Sailor Moon can't Moon Healing Escalate away for our favourite gal in orange, I'm sure, but with plenty of yummy angst to come.

Honestly, the "half a year" could refer to anything, and possibly not related to the moon princess stuff at all. It would be very anti-climactic for this little forum if "half a year" referred to the release of some new flavor of Twizzlers Minako really wanted to eat.

But then again, that would be more Usagi-like.

I still like to think Minako believes herself to be the princess. I like to believe that everyone's memories are totally jumbled and mixed-n-matched, including the memories of the cats. Venus is the real leader of the four guardian senshi, not Moon. So as awakened Venus, she might inherently possess more character traits of the leader of the senshi, rather than princess-like traits. She rebukes Moon, Mars, etc. If she believes herself the princess, then the fact that she doesn't "act like one" can be interpreted as a subconscious hint at her real identity, rather than contrived subversiveness. The reawakening of memories was a slow process in the manga, with subsequent acts doing a blotchy job of filling in details here and there until they visit the moon.

The reason I like to believe this is because it makes it more fun if everyone is really surprised when Moon is awakened, including Venus herself. It would be less fun if Venus was all like, "Well yeah..I knew..but yeah .."

I just wished that PGSM would start throwing in more obvious hints that Moon is the princess, rather than the fact that the show is called by her name :D . I mean to refer to the manga's alteration of her tiara as bits of memory come back. That could've happened, for example, when Zoisite mentions Endymion's name. It would've been cool if we had a shot of Moon half-fainting or getting a headache or something.

Venus also doesn't seem to be calling herself Serenity. This might hint at less than complete memories too. In the manga she introduces herself as Princess Serenity, and I think Moon has one of those aforementioned coming-of moments when that happens.

He's a thief, so he steals them obviously ;).
