I too think the 6 months has something to do with the wedding.

I also agree that Minako feinted from over working herself. When does she ever get to sleep? Idols don't get much rest and she spends that little time that should be spent resting by fighting crime.

...... And I think Minako collapsed is because she is exhausted physically and mentally, I mean, she's a singer and a superheroine at the same time and the stress of watching over Usagi finally got to her. It happens to a lot of people when they have too much stuff on their minds and suddenly she collapses.
I agree that too much stress can cause fainting. But, I think with Minako it's much more complex than just -physical fatigue- she has also been showing other symptoms. Like bluring of vision and what seems to be painful head aches. I'm really curious as to what is her illness, is it mystical? Can't wait to find out.

Maybe I am misunderstanding. But are you refering to Act 11? Minako was in the Hospital for the first time because, a truck tried to run her over...
yeah..sorry about that.I kinda forgot. But maybe there is an allusion to that, that somehow she is carrying the crystal within her and is trying to break out and find her rightful owner, which is Usagi. That is just a theory I guess. And yeah, she spends too much energy on doing other things, the stress builds up and finally gets to her and she collapses. It would happen to a person, either if they are a superheroine or not. :P I agree with you there, that i can't wait how all of this will play out in the end.

What I don't get is why everyone thinks Mamoru's graduation is in six months?? If we go by the manga, he's in eleventh grade--he has much more than six months to graduate. In a magazine, Shibue Jyoji's Mamoru was described as a "koukousei," so you know he's not in college and is definitely in high school...Judging from the fact that I see no proof he's not in 11th grade, I doubt the six months has anything to do with Mamoru. I don't even think Minako knows who Mamoru is--she called him "that guy" in Act 15.

As always, we'll see. ^^

Then if that's true, wouldn't we see him in a school uniform?
If what's true? If I actually saw the scan of the magazine calling him a high school student?

http://www.three-lights.net/images/shogakukan2/7.jpg

In the description of Chiba Mamoru, it specifically says koukousei.

Whatever the case, why would we see him in his uniform? People don't live in uniforems, and we've never seen him *in* school. We usually see him when Usagi sees him, which means *she's* out of school, which probably means he's out of school too. The other times we see him, he's in his house, chilling with Motoki, on a date with Hina, or stealing jewelry. Didn't realize a uniform was necessary for any of those actions.

My original point was, I don't see why people think he's graduating in six months...in six months, it would be August. Graduations don't happen in August in Japan anyway.

When are Japanese graduations?

Also, they likely wouldn't get married the same day they graduated. It could be a month or two later.

:::::::::::::::

Whoa. Here's a thought. Maybe 6 months is how long you need to go to that church before you can get married there.

I too doubt that Minako would even bother to talk about Mamoru and his wedding. She's not interested in him as long as he stays away from Sailor Moon (for her safety probably) and as long as he doesn't steal jewelry. And all of that assuming that she knows that Mamoru is Tuxedo Kamen. If she doesn't, there's nothing to be said anymore.

Come on, her only interest is her mission and her mission is about the Princess. Mamoru's wedding or lack of thereof has nothing to do with Serenity's awakening but with Usagi's personal feelings.

Some sort of incurable sickness is maybe a weird explanation, but it's a better reason why she is in hurry, why other girls "would be sad" and why she has these health problems. I would like to see something less typical, but I'd rather believe that than this strange Mamoru theory. It just doesn't make sense.

Japanese schools have three semesters, separated by vacations. At most schools, summer vacation covers the 40-odd days from July 20 to August 31; winter and spring vacation both last around 10 days, from December 26 to around January 6 and March 25 to around April 5, respectively. The new school year starts in April, at the end of spring vacation.

Hi ^_^ .

e_e; I have a couple (really just 2) of theories as to what 'six months' could be (most likely they won't happen x_x).

If they're trying to stay somewhat close to the Manga; then maybe the six months tie in (somehow) with what Sailor V said about fate not being able to change in Act 7. Maybe a reference to the Princess' suicide (in the past) and what's to come in the near future? (I hope that makes sense.)

Maybe, six months is how much longer the Senshi have until they use their powers to go to the Moon to learn about their past? >_>;

But wouldn't it be AWESOME to see Shibue in the Moto Abazu uniform? :o
VERY MUCH SO.

I thought Mamochan was supposed to be in college? (Why am I thinking this?) Although it makes me feel better if he's supposed to be in high school, I always thought a college guy dating a girl not yet in high school seemed a bit narsty.

I don't like this idea of the 6 months having ANYTHING to do with Mamoru/Hina. Mina was talking about that before we even met Hina! (Right??) Plus that seems just a bit silly, as the Mamo/Hina thing is a mere romantic issue. It's not nearly as big as, oh, I dunno, the fate of the protectors of the galaxy. I'm sure it's going to have something to do with senshi business -- unless Mamo/Hina becomes paramount to senshi business, which I really, REALLY doubt.

I'm pretty sure Mamoru was in high school at the beginning of the Dark Kingdom arc. I remember, I think in the Death Busters arc or the Black Moon one (or was it the Dream arc? Ahah, I can't remember!) Ami says Mamoru's in KO University and is all like: Wowowowwowowow. In the anime, he was in college, I think. [/b]

He starts off in high school, grade 2 in the manga (11th grade)--in the anime, he starts off in college.

In this one, he's listed as a high school student in that magazine, but his grade is never specifically specified in the show, so technically...we just don't know. ^^
