Oh wow so SAD that I missed your post the day you created it ! This is for me the true birthday of Crystal because honestly this is from this episode that they lost like half the viewers and people realized that this reboot was beyond any possible redemption.

First episode was like « well okay I dislike the design and the manierism but maybe it will be better when animators will be used to characters »

Second episode was « okay it’s not pretty at all but it happens, some animators are not very good, that’s the same for all franchises ».

Third was « Okay this series has already crashed in its third episode wtf ».

The Moon Pride MV gave us some hopes but it would be crushed mercilessly by the next episode

RIP them, but I'm different. :P I knew the reboot was going to be a disaster from the very first key visual. That Yukie Sako illustration with bug eyes, awkward anatomy, and tentacle hair forebode what was to come. I knew if they couldn't pull off a simple illustration, there'd be no way they could pull off animation. A fish rots from the head.

i can imagine them saying something like this, if they would discover this forum.

Except the shot in question is NOT an in-between frame. These people obviously have no clue about animation. They'll just say anything and pathetically try to grasp at straws to defend their trash.

I immediately disliked the character designs when I saw them. Their hair and eyes looked particularly ugly to me.

I never got flack on Twitter, but I already got blocked by some Mexican fanpage on Instagram because I said something they posted from Crystal looked ugly. :kiss:
