I see that everyone involved in the franchise are hiding Crystal and pretending it never existed. It's mentioned in official timelines.
The museum is the perfect proof of how embarrassed they are about Crystal. In the Animation Room, all three seasons of Crystal are squished into one panel, with just a brief description and a few images of the "best" scenes they could dig up. Compared to the '90s anime and the films, there wasn’t even a panel for each season, and they didn’t show any sketches, designs, or storyboards. It was also the only panel that didn’t have a screen showing the opening or the usual stock footage of transformations and attacks. The message couldn’t be clearer.
