Here's a before/after look at ep 4 of the HD Dic Dub remaster I been working on

On my previous clip of ep 4 I played with the colors, and it was too pink, and toned it down. I really liked the intense colors except for what it did to Serena's hair.

This is the Italian DVD's upscaled

The first ep I used the Japanese Blurays, and the rest I used the Italian DVD's, and upscaled them because they looked better

Ohhhh! you mean with the Jap/Viz audio? I'd need time, and harddrive space for that lol these eps are over 10gigs a piece lol I compress them for clips, but that's it. I'm also doing the Nelvana dub of Cardcaptors, old streamline dubs, and I just did the first ep of Inuyasha yesterday so I've been super busy lol

Yeah I'm doing Inuyasha because the dub never got a nice bluray release like Japan.

That would be waaaaay easier to do than the Dic dub. They really went everywhere in their edits. We're talking just milisecond frames everywhere. Even had to freeze frame some parts to keep their mouth open or closed and to stay in sync. Plus their unique transitions. lol

Easier, and much more appreciated. Can you at least one of the openings and upload it somewhere so we can download it, without compression as heavy as on youtube?

Sure. Anything specific? I just did the Nurse Minako ep for somebody, and I hope it's a good sign for things to come, because that was a breeze to edit! but, it's probably because it's such a cute episode, and not much to cutout lol

For example, try to do the second opening of the Japanese anime. But look at the episodes and find one with better colors, because for some reason the quality varies, even in stock footage. I think episode 45 is one of the better ones.

What do you mean? Viz is almost done releasing their InuYasha blu-rays! I have up to season 5 I believe.

Wait what? The Adult Swim airings of InuYasha had a different dub soundtrack? And what's the issue with the Viz Blu-rays? I haven't compared to the Japanese releases.

I am sorry the viz bluray does have the change the world song, just doesnt have an english dub track, bad transfer as well, and the newer japanese bluray is better quality video, but missing the change the world opening song. Neither has an english dub, which is what I am doing with the intro/ending theme intact, and I edited the superior japanese bluray video for even higher fidelity,cleaner, and sharper. Hope that makes sense, sorry lol
