How did Queen Serenity come to rule the Solar System? I mean, just how did the large planets, like Jupiter and Saturn, for example, be under a satellite's (aka the Moon) control? Let's face it, it makes no sense for such a small satelite to have a greater power than Venus; let alone Jupiter or Saturn.

So, it's safe to say Queen Serenity isn't adverse to expanding her rule outside the Solar System either?

Because of the power of the Crystal. Though that doesn't really make sense because I've always seen the crystal as having always been Sailor Moon's and Queen Serenity was just holding it for safe keeping or something (I mean after all, it is her star seed) but then why did the Moon rule the other planets before Serenity was even born? (as seen by the presence of the young inner senshi after Serenity's birth :/ )

I don't think the size/class of the celestial object would be related to the size of power one wields.

The Moon reflected light from all sides (unlike now), making it the shinest "planet" of the solar system (if I recall well).
As to why did Serenity pick that little satelite in the first place, well, it's likely because Earth was going to harbor life, and she could watch over it from the Moon.

Serenity showed up one day, and primitive man worshipped her to the point where she decided to make the most of her position.

That's taking advantage of a weaker species, which's unethical. lol

She came from somewhere far away and settled down on the moon. I guess everyone recognized the power of the sliver crystal and swore fealty to her.

So people submit to her because of her power & being undefeatable. :P

I would assume Queen Serenity would be the Eve in Moon Kingdom History. But who would be the Adam?
Now it's that eternal question again. lol Maybe she's capable of parthenogenesis. :P

She seems like a fair ruler. The people fear and love her.
