I was thinking about a spin-off series where the owners of the rainbow crystals of the season 1 get their powers back , they met each other , and form a team to fight against the evil ones , and sailor moon would be their greatest motivation.

They also could get their demon transformations back but this time they could control what they do , so they are not gonna attack any sailor senshi as they did in the past , so they would be good demons.

Feels like the mutants in X-Men. lol

He actually could be like Golden Boy. He left his rich life, wandering around to "better himself" while Kentaro dropped out of college [of which he was excelling in iirc] to also gain experience from life. So, they're both hobos wanderers in a way.

Mr. Ibuki is based on Rei's Manga Grandpa, they just aged him down and made him a cousin instead, it would be fun if they introduced Rei's father in Stars as well.

It's interesting you say that because there were articles out that stated that Joss Whedon was inspired by Sailor Moon and even did some research into it when creating Buffy. I've even heard Dawn's story was copied from Chibi Usa, to an extent.

... And I never knew this. I knew there were some superficial similarities between Sailor Moon and Buffy but... this!? I was never a big fan of Buffy but I always respected the show's storytelling skills. When I look at how episodic the original series was, I can't help but wonder what would SM be if someone like Whedon had been the director.
