If there were Male Senshi, who would they be?

Other than Mamoru, I think Nephrite, Saphir (after finding out about the Death Phantom in the 90’s version), Asanuma , & Motoki would make great candidates.

Nephrite- He turned good, and seemed like he would help the Senshi had he lived. Naru might have been able to become a Senshi, or at the very least more involved with the plot and have more screen time in later seasons with Nephrite aiding the Inner Senshi.

Saphir- Same reasons as Nephrite as he started to see Earth and earthlings in a new light or perspective. With him also being involved, the Ayakashi sisters would also be more involved or get screen time (at least Petz would).

Asanuma- Since he’s Mamoru’s friend, it’d be easy for Mamoru And him to get along

Motoki- Same reason as Asanuma, though I’m not sure how he’d take the whole superhero and magical aspect of it all.

Manga/PGSM/Myu Shittenou feel like the obvious answer since they’re technically meant to be Mamoru’s own little Senshi team and are the counterparts of the Inners.

Saphir

Would he be the same kind of “Senshi” Mamoru is? As in the Senshi/Guardian of Nemesis, but because he’s male that’s the reason why Nemesis doesn’t have it’s own “Sailor Nemesis?”

But since I'm not part of that universe, I'd go with the usual suspects of Jadeite, Nephrite, Zoisite and Kunzite since as said above, they were Mamoru's own "inner" group. They have powers, have matching, color-coded costumes and in Crystal even have titles. They even each canonically represent a place. Maybe not a planet, but a direction or area: Kunzite (The Middle-East), Nephrite (North America), Zoisite (Europe), and Jadeite (far East)
Another option could be Helios.

From the anime, there's only one guy pure-hearted enough. Brave enough. Capable of putting it all on the line and that is:

Considering that Umino is weak even by normal human standards, it's really a brave act to fight against evil. Maybe not the smartest move you can do, but definitly a very brave one.

One of my very, very old fanfiction ideas was to very temporarily allow "Melvin" to transform into a super-powered hero, so I'm glad I'm not the only one to see the heroic potential in this young lad.

From the old anime, I would have loved it if some of the Rainbow Crystal carriers came back as heroes, although I don't know if they would have made great team heroes or Guardians.

I'd also include Ail in that list. Just rework the ending of that part of R so that the aliens are massively de-powered and then stuck on Earth until that sapling grows instead of just sending them on their way because they "learned their lesson" or whatever. Plus, then it would also make the eventual decision to leave Earth (when that sapling grows into a tree and gets too big to hide) all the more impactful because Ail, the less directly involved of the two aliens, would have formed actual friendships with the cast, especially his now former love rival, Mamoru (It would also be the inverse of Mamoru and Fiore who started out as friends but became adversaries).
