“Cosmos is supposed to be who Usagi becomes after she loses everyone she loves when chaos takes over in a different reality --she got super upset about this after years of suffering and fled to the reality we know disguised as Chibi-Chibi to help destroy chaos completely. So in the reality we know, Cosmos doesn't exist at all.

So essentially Neo-Queen Serenity exists simply because Sailor Cosmos does not exist.”

CrazyArtFreak’s theory about Sailor Cosmos not existing in the new timeline, and being the reason why Usagi becomes Neo-Queen Serenity does make sense. After all, anyone who has ever watched the CW’s The Flash or Legends of Tomorrow will tell you that there are consequences to time travel, and it would be an interesting twist that since Usagi/Sailor Cosmos went back in time to meddle with the timeline, she essentially erased the post of Sailor Cosmos and ensured that her past self would become Neo-Queen Serenity instead.

PS. This is not my theory just wanted to see what peoples opinions abou it

I am not really sure about this:
“after years of suffering and fled to the reality we know disguised as Chibi-Chibi to help destroy chaos completely. So in the reality we know, Cosmos doesn't exist at all.

So essentially Neo-Queen Serenity exists simply because Sailor Cosmos does not exist.”
In the end Usagi decides to make the very same choice that Cosmos did in her past... Cosmos cowardly went back to the past to change Usagi's choice and destroy the Cauldron, but Usagi chooses to preserve the Cauldron and this is what inspires Cosmos to engage again in her battle with Sailor Chaos.

One of my theories regarding Cosmos was actually similar to yours OP, I always felt it was possible Cosmos was from a parallel timeline in which she gave into despair during the battle with Galaxia and absorbed all the Sol System Senshi's Sailor Crystals into her, thereby becoming Sailor Cosmos. Instead of diving into the Cauldron to embrace Chaos, she instead makes the wrong decision to continue fighting Chaos for eternity and this is the "bad end" timeline where Crystal Tokyo never happens.

It would also makes sense because Neo Queen Serenity suposedly lost her ability to transform into a sailor. Also could be possible because of Chibiusa's time travel resulting in different timelines.

Maybe if both Cosmos & Chaos were eliminated, there'd be an eternal silence/stagnation, hence an equivalent of death, of the whole universe, & if either were eliminated, so would be the whole universe, since the grand balance had been broken, hence bringing forth its collapse. :)

This isn't true at all. Sailor Cosmos is from the same timeline we saw as Neo Queen Serenity and Neo Queen Serenity will become Sailor Cosmos and battle Sailor Chaos. Sailor Cosmos even went back in time to "the me of this time" to get her to destroy the Cauldron to prevent this future from happening. Which Usagi didn't so she will become Sailor Cosmos and the time will proceed as it would to Sailor Cosmos.

I don't know why people think that Sailor Cosmos is from a different timeline where the manga makes it very clear she isn't.

I tend to think the original timeline that Chibi Chibi came from is a timeline that the Outers, Sailor Quartet, Starlights, Kakyuu, and Chibimoon joined the Battle against Galaxia, but Chibi Chibi changed the timeline to manipulate her past self - similar to Princess Sailor Moon, but Chibichibi was later forced to preserve and converge the timeline to the one she came from minus the Outers joining in, so basically, I tend to think Stars manga is told in Chibichibi's perspective.

I never really understood what was going on with Sailor Cosmos. Isn't she a version of Usagi from the future where things went bad and now she's come back as Chibi-Chibi to fix things? :chibichibi:

I think Takeuchi deliberately made Cosmos' identity vague to give room for her readers to interpret/understand it in their various own ways. :)

Similarly, regarding the post above, my interpretation centers on conserving the cosmic and chaotic energies that make up the duo and the cauldron. Without the cauldron there would be no more fetters on life, no more artificial hierarchy of sailors and lesser people. Magic and life would flow freely and available to all. Needless to say, this would eliminate sailor cosmos and chaos too as we know them.

So all people would become gods/goddesses, equally possessing their full powers. lol But what if they had disputes among themselves? :megaoh:

After the anti-feudalrevolutions in history I did not see any record of every peasant, village blacksmith, urban labourer, etc. being crowned king or getting the riches of one, so with that analogue, and conservation of energy, it would be simply better distributed.

The answer is big fireworks none the less.

So it'd be like the communism of divine powers, & all people would become lesser gods/goddesses, possessing equal, lesser powers. lol

It's never mentioned if Cosmos is from Neo Queen's Serenity direct timeline and is just a natural evolution of her, this is headcanon. She could be from another timeline, but frankly it's more likely that she is from the main timeline but is a future reincarnation of Usagi's after her lifespan as NQS comes to an end rather than her just being another form of NQS.

I'd consider Cosmos as one of the so many manifestations of Usagi's "soul" across time & space in the universe, wherein Usagi, Serenity, etc. are just some of those manifestations, all of which are equals & hence none of which can be seen as the "core," "main," or "real" one. :)

Once saw an interesting theory that Usagi and the whole Serenity/White Moon line is simply one of the many incarnations of Cosmos similiar to the way Chaos has multiple incarnations of itself.
