well, the legs disappear cause they are inside the legendary silver crystal, but still
I'm kinda dissapointed with all the art so far, they look so bland, their faces are boring and mostly with the same expression, the hair porno isn't their and the poses are pretty normal.
The art from S1/S2 was bad executed but at least they have some dynamic poses, the hair had a good flow, etc. Season 3 kinda tried this too (some times they looked really stiff, but at least they were on model), and even though I don't really like the style I LOOOVE the very first key visual we got and the last shoot from the opening.

the very first key visual still gives me nightmares. Well, at least in the movies the art looked quite nice most of the time. Like people said before Tadano is the opposite of Sakou. Sakou looked good in stills, but not in animation most of the time, Tadano looks boring and unimpressive in stills but looks great animated. Akira... exists. S 3 looked horrible on model to begin with...

but really, Akira had his moments in the anime, most of the time they looked awkward tho but his promo art was on point (most of it) and his work on S1/S2 even though it was the most boring and bland one (still don't know why they gave him the final episodes of each seasons) they used to stay on model... on his style (he used like the most bland shading, mostly no details and really round eyes), he just needed more in between frames.

He was the eye shore of season 1 and 2. I mean when it comes to animation directors. We all know there was a lot worse. At least with Eternal they didn't go derpy by design.

I'm glad that the last episode is not necessarily the most critical one in SMC.
