I wonder if Naoko drew everything on her own or if she had people to help her.
I don’t want to even imagine what it must feel like having to draw and write while a hit anime derived from your work is airing weekly on TV—and it had 200 episodes, movies, specials, and even musicals.
CLAMP, I imagine, is different, because it is a consolidated group of 4 women and the work can be distributed evenly.

I've heard that she'd got assistants, which isn't uncommon for major manga writers.

Since there are threads dedicated to animation errors in the 90s anime and Crystal, I thought it might be fun to point out, document, and laugh at some of the art mistakes in the manga. I'll start.
First, the infamous panel of Praying Mantis!Sailor Uranus from Act 47:

CLAMP has issues in creative differences, which might have been one of the reasons why some of their series ended in hiatus or rushed, they don't admit that the writer is hinted to prefer the anime of MKR(the manga was toned down) and CCD(dropped) because the mangas did not end as the writer originally planned but the anime did and they don't try to hide those plus members of CLAMP who have left.
This is how it looks in nakayoshi.
During that time, Takeuchi was involved with Stars, her trauma or issues with TOEI during Stars might have prevented her from trying to fix that panel, perhaps in a later edition she will after Crystal Stars is released.
If it is not broken, don't fix it.

I remember a certain panel in the infinity arc when Sailor Moon transformed into Princess Serenity in the green house. Her ears were much lower than they should be and she also had a choker for some reason when she didn't in the next panels. I also remember a panel in the earlier chapters where it was a fuzzy dream and Mamoru looked like his back was turned, but his head was turned to her direction.
