If we ever get another Sailor Moon reboot anime or a new Sailor Moon video game it would be nice to have more unique uniform designs for all the Sailor Guardians taking some inspiration from the prototype uniforms, at the very least give each Sailor Guardian's standard uniform some more unique design elements so the designs for them aren't so copy and paste looking as much, design elements like for example the sailor necktie Venus has, or the sailor dress Mercury has, other bow designs, or some pieces of armor, or more short length gloves, new glove designs, new sleeve designs, variety of decorative patterns, more variety of footwear, or have their symbols on their front bows/sailor neckties, etcetera. I really like Sailor V's mask and Sailor Mercury's blue visor that I want them to be permanently part of their uniforms in a reboot. For a new Sailor Moon video game they can give us multiple different uniform designs for each Sailor Guardian with the option to swap between whichever uniform we want each Sailor Guardian to wear. I hate seeing good ideas like this go to waste and never see the light of day.

Here's them in the style of Sailor Moon Crystal.

I think it's just a normal book.

I like it, but It's too bad it feels like they got rid of some of the contrast present in the black and white one. Especially in the background.
Because the B&W one has another background, a blue/ pink peach marbling effect:

Although I like the colours of the background, the original posted above by Akari has infinitely a better harmony; it has that sort of celestial mood.

I think those post modifications Naoko has always made, even now, are for the worse. This one I've posted was modified for the tankoubon release in 1997 and the original is from 1996.

I love how she depicts intimacy/ romantic gestures between lovers.

Most of the artwork for Sailor V I've seen had livelier energy to them. They included a lot more warm colors

Her older stuff, (even the ones that were fairly blatant copies of existing art), just had a better feel to them.
I think it could be because she was in love with art and embraced her faults and strengths in the 90s so when she created something, her personality really shown through.
I don't see this kind of emotion and individuality in her newer stuff.
I think Naoko is at her best when she just lets the art flow freely and she lets the poses and hair do what they will. It reminds me of why I became a fan to begin with.

I would love to see her return to form over the stuff that comes out now. 90s Naoko was best Naoko.

Perhaps she's less willing to take artistic risks or less daring to make artistic mistakes nowadays than her younger self back then? :)

I wonder why is he holding a flotaing skull next him:question:
Was he passing through an edgy phase by the time they took that photo:question:
I think it's on a [new/future] staff/cane, I guess he thought the skull looked more manly in the future. ::tuxspeedmask:

Also, I'm pretty sure this is what Mamoru would look like going through an edgy phase
