Wow! Pretty! The girls look so much nicer here than the weird cut-off-leg stuff from before. And I like the additional decorations on Tux's gear.

I hadn't heard it was canceled. I thought it was just delayed again.

I really like Mamoru’s new outfit. He looks very elegant as a Prince.

Those 2 new illustrations are actually nice, way better than what she did for the full color covers where poses are faces were awkward, or even the museum ones.

I'm really sad the canceled the ice show, but I guess it was inevitable. The new art looks beautiful and seems to maybe confirm the color manga covers came from this same series as theorized

I like them! She seems to have shortened the length of the legs compared to what else we’ve seen recently.

I like the colours.

The group one: The photoshop background is ugly. I don't know why it was stretched. Naoko did the same with the Colour Edition covers.... The girls legs reflections don't have the right perspective. But the golden ratio is quite good here.

The couple one: it's soooo 90's. The best illustration she's made so far. Good composition, good narrative, good ratio. Even though.... the feet reflections.... But quite good. I imagine she used a figure skater stock picture to trace because the anatomy is also fine.

Yes, it's an old one, tho. It was published on New type Magazine back in the 90s.

It's meant to be a consolation for the disappointed fans after the cancelation. I also hope the music would be released too in due course.

I love this drawing…and I prefer the dramatic coloring more.

I like the detailed hair. But it's not pro. The picture is very unbalanced. I can see why this wasn't included in the artbooks collection.

I like them both! And it reminds me how much I prefer Sailor Moon’s fuku from Classic to S. Super and Eternal Sailor Moon represent a different Sailor Moon. It‘s a different vibe.

I browsed some of the pages of Naoko Takeuchi’s The Cherry Project. The protagonist is a girl named Cherry who figure skates on ice. The genre (romance) is not really my thing, so I didn’t finish the manga. However, Naoko’s notes are fun to read: she expresses a lot of admiration for athletes who skate on ice and she even skated on ice herself.
