culmination of animation over the summer, not a lot done, but it should be interesting

unsure whether to stick with redrawing some frames for an anime or to do something akin to a manga (if anyone's seen my "looking for youma settei" thread the picture below is why I might have needed some DD girls settei or that page from the Sailor Moon Blu-Ray booklet.)
I have a basic outline for Pinako's first outing set in my mind, I now just need to know which format to try it in.

I love the character concepts here. I still haven't learned much about Suburban Senshi, but you're definitely having some fun with the anime lore and the Toon Makers pilot stuff. Pinako is kinda cool (a reformed DD girl? A DD girl's daughter?), and Narun is hilarious. Generally all has a pretty fun feel.
If I were to give any criticism, I think the weak point of the art is mostly proportion- the details make sense, but the overall body shape perspective can be a bit loose. I don't think that's neccessarily important for fun fanart, though, and really it's all about getting your ideas made- precision can come with time and more drawings. I would hesitate to call these bad because the concepts are charming and great. Also, the editing on the animated ones is quite good at the timing / pacing.

well I'm kinda taking it in the direction of "A/The Next Generation", having Pinako's stuff take place about 30 years after the original series (or 27 years after sailor stars, take your pick 
) In subsen, for now she's a multiversal baby (a person whose mother is from one universe and father is from another, not spoiling who her father is, but he'll not be appearing for quite a long while) this is not the case for her character in this story.

I was going to ask is this canon to the 90s anime. Because I believe in the case of the Inners and Outers that they retain their Senshi powers all the way to Crystal Tokyo and don't give them up or have people succeed them in the modern day.

She actually is the Sailor Moon of the team, the first attack she is set to use has been named "Moonlight Vine Laser", where her vines coalesce into a barrier, with her vines pointing at her enemies, once she shouts the attack name, multiple crescent shaped beams shoot out from said vines towards them.
I think I've got the ideas for the first four stories down and am trying to put down a manuscript for chapter two, and drawing sketches for chapter 1.
Chapter 2 will introduce Daniel Kano and his circumstances (including why people always seem to call him "Hino" instead of "Kano", a running gag based on the kanji for fire 火 which can be read as either "hi" or "ka")
Chapter 3 for Katerina's introduction, she's been living in a village that is scared that she a reincarnation of Queen Beryl (she isn't) and kept her inside a cabin with nothing to do (don't know how far I'd go in a manga form, but the implication of this is, it's basically the reason she can't use/isn't able to use her legs) on the day Daniel and Pinako go to see her after their curiosity is piqued about it, the villagers have had enough and are ready to burn down the cabin with anyone inside. Pinako has to transform to save her friends, flying out of the cabin, once someone comes to collect Katerina's body, under the assumption that she finally died, that person is surprised to find her alive, and with two others. not a happy ending for that guy.
Chapter 4 is basically going to be the Yu-Gi-Oh! Manga chapter "The Cards with Teeth" with a Sailor Moon touch, Starring:
Pinako Aino/Sailor Pinako as Yugi Muto/Yami Yugi
Val The Csar as Seto Kaiba

So I guess my question is do the Sailor Senshi atleats the Inners here lose their Powers as Sailor Senshi and then gain them back when Crystal Tokyo starts atleast the Inners so they can be Crystal Tokyo's Guards and Guard Neo Queen Serenity. So I guess also in this version that Chibiusa would be the 3rd Sailor Moon as we have her mother, then Pinako followed by Chibiusa and potentially the 4th if Queen Serenity was ever a Sailor Senshi.
I just finished the manuscript for chapter 2 before I saw this so now I can answer confidently that at the very least their powers get copied over in a way (I have a panel planned down where there are two Mars Transformation pens by the fire in the Hikawa shrine). (though I also put down a spirit doppelganger for Pinako with a crescent moon on her forehead with a panel showing the two together, in a sort of Yugi/Yami Yugi-like relationship.) As for Queen Serenity... I can neither confirm nor deny at this time, whatever theories pop up as a result of this one, I might take a great interest in.
